Announcement   Like zines? I like you. Let's be friends.

Send me something that represents you (ex. Receipts, photographs, magazine clippings, post it notes, birthday cards etc.) and I'll cut it up, glue it together with other stranger's fragments and make a zine!

In 2009 I started making zines out of found objects - mostly scrap pieces of paper and pictures out of old books. Over the next year friends and strangers started giving me submissions to help create longer zines with better content. As word spread I started leaving issues at coffee shops, shows, libraries, art supply stores, museums, and doorsteps of unique looking places hoping that whoever picked it up would utilize the self-addressed stamped envelope and send me pieces of who they were. My goal is to have a slow progression of community through these zines by cutting and pasting together fragments from stranger's lives to create a cohesive work of full page, color art. Each submission I receive gets used and if you put your return address on the submission when you send it, you'll be on the mailing list for life.

Why? Because putting pieces of ourselves together makes us whole…
