I make all sorts of things from precious metal, artisan lampwork, glass, gemstones and sometimes other bits and pieces I come across.

I coil and cut silver wire to make my chains and maille designs, many of which use patterns passed down through the ages, and love to combine these with lampwork glass created by some amazing artists.

I hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I have enjoyed creating them. I am happy to tailor any piece to your individual size requirements, and also enjoy the challenge of commissions if you would like something extra special.

My findings are created one by one from sheet and wire, and are designed to enhance your own handmade creations. If you'd like a special finding, do get in touch, I love making things especially to suit individual pieces.

As every piece is handmade, please don't expect it to look like it's come from a factory - whilst my style isn't particularly 'organic', the nature of artisan jewellery is to work with our raw materials to create, rather than to try to turn them into a range of identical pieces.

  • Pay with PayPal
I only accept Paypal. That doesn't mean you need a paypal account, you can use your credit or debit card to pay without signing up if you prefer. If I haven't received payment with three days, I will always relist the item - I recognise that you might want to change your mind, but I can't afford not to sell it at all :)
I pack carefully, and ship using Royal Mail first class or international post. This is not a guaranteed or tracked service - if you would like to upgrade your postage, please use the upgrade option. Some more expensive items will be automatically upgraded to Special Delivery or a signed-for Airmail service. I strongly recommend upgrading shipping for any order totalling £50 or more - without this your items are uninsured and I cannot be responsible for non-delivery.
Refunds and Exchanges
Items returned within one week of receipt will be refunded less postage. For hygiene reasons, earrings for pierced ears cannot be be refunded unless faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights. Custom items are non-refundable.
Additional policies and FAQs
Jewellery, whether fine or costume, is not really designed to be worn in the shower, pool or sea. Nor is it a good idea to keep it on for housework or gardening. Prolonged exposure to air, especially in humid conditions, will lead to darkening of most metals. Costume jewellery, such as charm bracelets, lightweight maille and large rings needs to be treated with a certain amount of respect - avoid bashing against hard objects or catching in clothing if possible. If you use perfume, hairspray or sunscreens, it's best to apply these before putting your jewellery on.

The simplest way to avoid tarnish and damage is to store your beautiful things in sealed 'ziploc' type bags. Not the prettiest of solutions, but very effective as they keep out the air that causes metal to oxidise. They will also stop them from bumping together and scratching or damaging metal, stone or glass. Not all glass beads or semi-precious gemstones are entirely colour or lightfast, so it is recommended that you store these in a dark place away from direct sunlight.

Always be gentle! Sterling silver - even items with lampwork beads or stones - can be cleaned with a polishing cloth (I like the Sunshine brand), but as a general rule, the simplest cleaning solution is warm soapy water and a very soft toothbrush. Never use an abrasive cleaner (even toothpaste). Some glass beads (especially the tiniest seed beads) can lose colour when immersed in water.

Copper jewellery will darken to a rich reddish brown very quickly. If you prefer the 'bright new penny' look, just add a tablespoon or two of lemon juice to a cup of water along with a teaspoon of salt and soak the piece for a few minutes. Rinse and dry and it will be as shiny as shiny can be!

Your jewellery may get damaged or broken eventually. I am happy to offer a repair service for any piece purchased from me. Small repairs are undertaken free of charge other than postage cost, provided they are the result of normal wear and tear and not due to jewellery abuse! If more extensive work is needed, I will provide a quotation before starting.

As a UK-based seller, all my sales are made in accordance with UK law.
