Welcome! This is the Etsy store for ML Jewelry Designs of Malaga, WA and points south.
Wondering about coupons codes? Keep reading! There's a lot of important information about my shop here.
First: I make all of the jewelry you see on this site using quality materials. All metals are solid silver (fine, Argentium, or sterling), copper, gold, or niobium — I do not use silver plated or filled metals. I work metals with a variety of hand and bench tools to get the effects I want. All pieces are finely finished with great attention to detail. No two pieces are identical.
I sell primarily at art shows in Washington state (March through November) and the US Southwest (December through March). You can learn more and see a schedule of my upcoming shows on my Website: https://www.mljewelrydesigns.com/event-calendar/. I also sell at a number of gift shops and galleries in Washington and Arizona.
I can make custom wire-framed, prong set, or bezel set pendants from any of the unmounted cabochons that might appear on this site or from your cabochon. Message me for details.
I'm actively looking for wholesale accounts. If you're interested in selling my work in your jewelry shop, gift shop, or boutique, call and leave a message for me at 509/699-8044. Please understand that I only sell at wholesale prices to legitimate brick-and-mortar shops that can meet purchase minimums. I do not sell on consignment. I do not sell to online shops or buy other artists’ work for sale in my shop.
If you like my work and want to keep track of what’s new, I highly recommend Liking this shop and turning on notifications for it. If you see something you like, buy it before it sells elsewhere — turnover is remarkably high at times, especially since I draw upon the inventory shown here to sell to my wholesale accounts, show in galleries, and sell at the art shows I attend throughout the year.
You might also want to subscribe to my occasional newsletter. Once or twice a month, you'll get new jewelry photos and discount codes delivered right to your inbox. Subscribe here: http://eepurl.com/g0c9Xb And don't worry, you can unsubscribe at any time if you decide it's not for you.
Please note that I DO NOT ISSUE COUPONS FOR ABANDONED CARTS OR FAVORITE ITEMS. The only coupons I issue directly to individual shoppers are to existing customers who have purchased from me before or subscribers to my Twitter or Instagram feed or newsletter.
CURRENT/UPCOMING SHOP COUPONS/SALES APPEAR HERE:
WHATSNEW gives you 25% off specific new items to the store (no coupon needed); these items change as new items are added to the shop.
FREE SHIPPING for orders over $35 (no coupon needed).
Thanks for taking the time to read this! Stay safe, stay healthy, and keep supporting artists and makers!

5 out of 5 starsI love this sterling brooch converter. All ladies should have 1! I have a lovely brooch that I can also wear as a pendant. I am so pleased! I highly suggest shopping in this Etsy store. There's such a wide variety of very nice, reasonably priced products. I had a pleasant experience and a smooth transaction. Seller was very polite and helpful. I will, definitely, shop here, again and again! 💯👍

5 out of 5 starsThe converter was very pretty but unfortunately it did not fit my brooch. The seller refunded my money though. Things were a little slowed up because she was traveling, but it all worked out in the end and I appreciate the end result.

When hobbies go wild
I've always loved rocks -- Mother Nature can really make some beautiful things! When I began acquiring cabochons some years ago, I quickly realized that I needed to do something with them. A friend who was working with wire taught me how to make pendants the way she does. After some practice and time trying different materials, I developed my own style.
I quickly became interested in exploring other jewelry making techniques, including more advanced metal working. That led to me making items other than pendants: earrings, bracelets, rings, and rosaries. From there, I took my developing skills back to making pendants, but without relying on wire to frame the stone. This has opened up all kinds of new possibilities for me. Every piece I make is different and something I can be proud of.
Some of the techniques and skills I'm honing include soldering, fusing, texturing, patterning, stamping, air chasing, Keum-Boo, enameling, and antiquing. I'm now working with three kinds of silver -- fine, Argentium, and sterling -- as well as copper and gold leaf. I form sheet metal and wire in a wide range of thicknesses to build pieces from the ground up.
The style of my work is constantly changing, but one thing remains true: if I make a piece of jewelry with a stone, the stone is the focus of the piece. I can't improve on Mother Nature's work, but I can make it into wearable art so others can show it off for Her.
