"Creativity is Intelligence Haing Fun" ~~ Albert Einstein

I have always had a good eye for design and manage a clothing and accessory boutique, which plays into my creative side. In 2015, I decided to really use my spare time developing and practicing my artistic energies.

I began M&M Embellishments, starting with small art pieces and gradually redirecting my focus to creating art on furniture. I refurbish a piece {be it Antique or just a discarded table} using stain as the medium into a one~of~a~kind piece of art. Using a technique, which I call stain shading or stain “painting”, the image/ design is highlighted with great depth and dimension. I am still working on the shipping aspect of this business with my furniture refinishing, but if you are interested in any of the above pieces, send me a convo and I will work with you to get an estimate on shipping.

I began retailing Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint and Cling On! Brushes in early 2017. I researched many chalk paints before ultimately deciding on Wise Owl, as I love all things about this paint line. First and foremost, they are Zero VOC. And of course, the color selection is great, but even more important than that is the dependability of this paint. Fantastic coverage and this is a line of paint that is there for the long haul! If used correctly, your Wise Owl painted furniture pieces will bring you joy for years to come! And the Cling On! brushes are all the rave in the furniture refinishing business! Their claim to fame is the fabulous finish you will get with virtually no streaks!

I also create a variety of smaller art pieces, custom signs, and perpetual tile calendars. I find gratification in repurposing items, such as my industrial lighting pieces. I am always learning and trying new things as this adventure unfolds.

Care instructions
When repairing furniture prior to a new look, we use wood filler on major imperfections. We repair all drawers, tracks and functional attributes. Any small imperfections will remain as part of the history of the piece. Vintage furniture has a story to tell and we appreciate that unique qualities of each and every piece we do.
