I love to make stuff. And drink coffee.
Hello there! Since I was a tiny girl I have been drawing and making little creations. My first loves were pencil, paper, scissors, glue, and modeling clay. I discovered sewing when I was older, and wool felt has become my favorite medium. I enjoy coming up with new twists, unexpected color combinations, and figuring out the best way to put things together. Tiny details make me especially happy!
Most of my sewing patterns begin as handmade gifts that I design for my family and friends. It's a wonderful feeling to gift someone with an item you made with your own two hands, and I want to share that feeling with others.
I truly love the process of pattern making; breaking my projects down into logical steps with illustrations so that others can easily make their own. I take a lot of time with my patterns to make sure they are perfectly clear and accurate. My degree is in print design, so I draw all my own diagrams digitally and take all my own photos. I'm a one-woman show here at MmmCrafts. I enjoy it! :-)
My goal is for you to feel supported in the process of making my projects by providing upfront descriptions, detailed steps, lots of diagrams and sample photos, and lots of my own crafting tips. My blog (mmmcrafts.blogspot.com) is a great additional resource for helpful information and inspiration, with color guides that link to lovely kits provided by felt vendors. Contact me with questions anytime – happy to help!
I am a follower of Christ, the wife of my tall, bearded hero, and mom to two amazing young women. I draw inspiration for my crafting from songs, classic books, folk tales and God's wondrous creation.
Thanks for coming to my shop! Go make something!

Custom and personalized orders
Sorry, I can't make any custom orders. I just don't have the time. If you invent a way to add more hours to the day, please let me know. :-). There is a list of independent crafters on my blog who make custom orders from my patterns. Feel free to contact them: http://mmmcrafts.blogspot.com/p/mmmakers.html
Questions about my ornament series?
You can find A LOT of great information on this resource page for my heirloom wool felt Christmas ornaments. (Including detailed color guides and links to felt/floss bundles and kits):
https://mmmcrafts.blogspot.com/p/ornament-series.html
Sizing details
I include sizing details in the individual pattern listings, but they may not be in the bundled listings. The average size for my Christmas ornaments is about 4 x 5 inches. It varies of course, because the shapes vary a good bit.
Wholesale availability
I do not offer wholesale printed patterns at this time. It’s on my to do list!
How do I give a pattern as a gift?
Because my patterns are downloads and not emailed, it’s best to give your lucky giftee an Etsy gift card (or cash, Visa gift card, etc...) along with a link to my shop. That way your friend can choose a gift and download it from their own Etsy account (which is free and easy to create). Purchased patterns are backed up at Etsy for them and available anytime in case of computer crashes, lightning strikes, or toddlers with peanutbuttery hands. The links do not expire.
How do I find my download?
If you purchase either with your account or as a guest, Etsy sends a purchase receipt with links to your patterns to the email address you entered. You can use the email links to download your pattern. Do not use the Etsy mobile app to download - it doesn't work.
If you purchased with your Etsy account, you can also always find your patterns under Account > Purchases and Reviews. The links do not expire.
If you purchased as a guest, the email receipt is the ONLY way for you to access the patterns. I recommend you link your guest purchases to your Etsy account. You can follow the instructions included on this page: https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015663607-How-to-Check-Out-as-a-Guest-on-Etsy
Do you provide SVG files?
No, my downloads do not include SVG files. Because of the way my ornaments are made, it does not work well to use an automated cutter. You'll get the best results if you trim the pieces by hand.
