Frequently asked questions
What is your Pin Grading System?
I try to be very transparent about the quality of my pins and sort/grade them as best I can. After discarding any pins deemed too funky to sell, I like to use an A, B, C grading system:
A - standard grade - pins are almost perfect; because enamel filling is done by hand, it is nearly impossible for them to be absolutely perfect
B - grade seconds - minor, not very noticeable blemish(es)
C - grade seconds - more noticeable blemish(es); still wearable!
If there are no drastic differences in blemishes or I'm phasing out the design, I may group them into plain ol' seconds :). Although I try my very best to make sure the proper pin grade goes out to you, mistakes can happen, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any issues. ♡
