About

Doing what I love every day!

We (my significant other, Mick and I) have been selling vintage online since 1998. We love plundering estate sales and yard sales for items that need a loving home that can give them a new life while appreciating their history. One of my favorite parts of the process is the research. You never know what wonderful thing you might run across at a sale, but if you have an "eye" for it you know it when you see it! Then comes the extensive research so that I can pass along to you, the customer, as much correct and honest information as possible.

We have acquired a fairly large estate of antiques and vintage items, which will be listed over the next couple of months. I'm really looking forward to the challenge of expanding my shop and making it my main focus. Doing what I love every day. :)

I like to think of myself as an archivist and curator rather than a packrat. I love the thrill of the hunt, the research, and finding loving new homes for all those wonderful antique and vintage goodies!

Thanks for stopping by Moddities! We have loved the thrill of the vintage hunt for decades. Because of this we are a house packed with all sorts of goodies from 1940s-1970s. Basically this shop is our therapy to overcome our own packrat habits. We find these wonderful items; I get to hold and examine them, photograph and research them, find out about their life so far and then LET GO. So, while we still have all of our favorite things we have collected for ourselves over the years, in order to prevent us from filling the house to the brim - we became foster parents, of sorts, to these wonderful old things we sell in our shop. This way we still get the thrill of the hunt, but you get to give the items a home :)

Refunds and Exchanges
We want our customers to have a good experience when they shop at Moddities. Since our main focus is Vintage Goods, we do our utmost to examine each item thoroughly and mention in the description any damage or repairs that we see. It's better to lay it all out there (the good, the bad AND the ugly) and let the buyer make an informed purchase. If your are in any way unhappy with your purchase please contact us immediately.

* If the item was misrepresented in the description or is broken upon arrival, please convo us immediately. UPON RECEIPT OF RETURNED ITEM you will receive a full refund (purchase price + shipping both ways).
