Hello & Welcome to Modernbird Jewelry! I am Laura Flavin, the metalsmith behind the designs here at Modernbird. I work in sterling silver, 14k & 18k gold. I love to create modern jewelry infused with meaning that you will cherish for years to come.
The shelves are bare here in my Etsy shop at the moment, I do have some new pieces made but have not been able to list them yet.... I will soon! Feel free to write if I can help with anything you are looking for that I don't have listed here on Etsy.

If you are local in the Saint Petersburg area you are welcome to come to my studio for a shopping visit. I will be there the Second Saturday of each month for St. Petersburg Artwalk OR send me a message and lets make a date! My studio is located at The ArtsXchange 515 22nd Street South, Studio 117 (right off the main gallery space) - by appointment only. Let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help.

♥Care Instructions
Most of my jewelry is oxidized sterling silver with a brushed, sanded, matte finish. To keep this patina over the long haul you can use fine steel wool or 600 grit sandpaper to "scrub it" or clean it. You can also use a polishing cloth to shine it up a bit as it naturally tarnishes (I recommend "Sunshine" brand). For long term storage, wash it with a little bit of dish soap and a soft toothbrush (to get rid of any oil from your skin) and put it in a sealed plastic baggie.
