I’m Jessica, founder of Modern DIY Bride. In 2016, I married my wonderful husband, Scott. We cultivated our dream wedding through a series of DIY projects.

We are the “Do It Yourself” type of people, and our wedding was no exception. The floral arrangements and decorations were DIY. We even wrote our own wedding ceremony for my dad to officiate. The venue was beautiful, very remote, and included little by way of tables or chairs, or decor. While it seemed overwhelming at times (I seriously considered hiring a wedding planner at least twice during the engagement), it was exciting to plan everything.

I used my Cricut to make a lot of the decor for our wedding, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Creating unique items for our special day gave me such satisfaction and joy. I started Modern DIY Bride to share ideas and tutorials with others who want to follow a similar path. My Etsy shop focuses on selling acrylic sign blanks, SVG files, and wedding guest books. Don't be afraid to reach out if you are looking for a particular shaped sign that you don't see in my shop. I love custom orders!
