This PDF is full of amazing heart charts. My only negative is they are somewhat difficult to see because of size. I'll have to see about enlarging them. Thank you.
Modern Folk Embroidery makes original, contemporary cross-stitch designs inspired by centuries of embroidery for your home.
A few years ago I wanted to make a little embroidery piece, but quickly found that none of the patterns out there reflected what I was looking for. As I didn't want to simply copy an old design, I decided that I'd have to take the jump and try my hand at designing my own patterns.
I created a few pieces, and people liked them. I set up an Etsy shop as it seemed the perfect place for my work. I decided on the name "Modern Folk" as it's made for modern people, but it is also my personal take on folkloristic patterns.
One of the best things about having the shop is being able to share something I really care about with so many people all over the world. I am always very moved by people sending me pictures of their handiwork. It's so great to see a design that I created being made by someone on the other side of the world! (so do send me your photos of your finished work please!)
Make sure to also check out my personal website (http://www.modernfolkembroidery.com) where you can find my hand-dyed embroidery wool (using only natural dyes), and high quality linens).
Future plans include the idea of bundling some patterns into book form. But for now, that's future music!
