Long Live Snail Mail!

Emily created Modern Ink Stationery in 2011, just after she designed her own wedding stationery -- and fell in love with all things paper.

Today, Modern Ink is about more than just *that* special day - it's about making every day special. And let's be honest: there's nothing more special than finding a card -- just because -- among your bills and junk mail.

Modern Ink Stationery hopes to inspire people to buy some stamps, pick up a pen, and tell someone that they're loved. Or just liked. Or whatever.

Payment
TERMS: Due to the custom nature of this shop, please note that *all payment must be received and cleared before your order is processed and production can begin.*

CANCELLATIONS: Once payment has been processed and work has begun, you will have 3 business days to cancel your order for a 50% refund.

PAYMENT METHODS: Currently Modern Ink Stationery only accepts payment via PayPal, but will be making changes to accept major credit cards by July 16, 2012. Stay tuned!
Shipping
Your address on the Etsy invoice for your purchase will be the shipping address for your package, unless otherwise requested. Before you check out, confirm that your home and email addresses are current.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING: Items are shipped USPS Priority Mail, unless otherwise noted. Shipping times are *typically* between 2-4 business days, but cannot be guaranteed. Contact me for a quote for a shipping method with guaranteed delivery times.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: At this point, Modern Ink Stationery is only able to accommodate domestic orders. Check back soon for international shipping options!
Refunds and Exchanges
Modern Ink Stationery wants you to be completely thrilled with your purchase! No order will go to press without your approval. Please take the time to carefully review your digital print. If preferred, hard-copy proofs are available for a cost of only $1.00. This allows you to see true color and texture, which can often be lost with digital proofs.

Due to the custom nature of Modern Ink Stationery, refunds will not be applied nor returns accepted after proofs have been signed off upon by the buyer.
Additional policies and FAQs
PRODUCTION TIME: Please allow 3-5 business days for the design of your order (more time if your order is custom; less if a rush order, see below). Once your digital proof is approved, please allow 2-3 business days for printing. Productions times are subject to change, but I will always communicate delays.

RUSH ORDERS: There is an additional fee of $15 for all rush orders. Rush orders entail: same day proofs, 24 hour production period, USPS Priority Mail. Shipping methods can be upgraded for an additional cost; contact me for a quote.

YOUR MONITOR: Please remember that the view of an image *will* vary between different monitors/smartphones. When you view your digital print, please keep this in mind. If you have questions about the actual appearance of the color in hard copy, don't hesitate to let me know. After digital proofs are signed off upon, returns/refunds cannot be accepted. I highly encourage ordering hard-copy proofs, mailed to you via USPS for only $1.00. Modern Ink cannot do color-matching unless CMYK/RGB codes are provided.

SOLD ITEMS: My designs are always changing, but if you are interested in a piece that has been sold, it can always be brought back to life.

SUSTAINABILITY: Modern Ink Stationery proudly practices sustainable production methods. All orders are printed-to-order to eliminate waste, all packaging is eco-friendly (either recycled material or a green product), and we use only 100% post-consumer recycled paper for all of our products.
