Exploring science through fibres.
I started creating science-inspired embroideries in 2014 whilst I was at school. Since then I've been able to both study science through my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences, and illustrate what I learn using thread.
I find science and the human body fascinating... but what is even more fascinating is trying to portray this with a medium you wouldn't normally associate with it. I've now gone on to study Medicine, so I'm hoping to incorporate some disease/pathology in my work in future.
Some of my pieces are available for purchase, and where the original has sold, I may have prints available. That is where this etsy page comes in!
