Molly was incredible to work with and extremely talented. My invitations turned out beautiful and my husband to be loved them! Molly consulted me on every aspect of the design and made sure I was 100% happy with them. You can tell she pours her heart into what she creates for you. The invitations were nicely packaged and was sent immediately following my last payment. You get an awesome product for an extremely reasonable price. Molly has great customer service skills and I am really looking forward to working with Molly in the future for other paper goods. I highly recommend Molly's The Vintage Inkwell!

About

My love for vintage design and it's era

I began by making holiday cards which my family members began buying every year. After graduating with a BA in Art History and numerous interviews but no call backs, God really taught me patience and to listen for His plan for my life.
Realizing that I can go into business with my designs I began to design wedding paper goods; which has grown into branding designs, stationery and illustration.
I first begin my orders by pencil sketches, showing my client the format, etc, ...and then the fun part, using my calligraphy pen and depending on the project, sometimes watercolors.
Once I capture the vintage design I begin the printing process and then the item is off to the client. I love adding elements of antiquing to bring a timeworn look yet to a new design.
My calligraphy has been featured in Style Me Pretty, Wedding Chicks, C MAGAZINE, and my work was selected for Martha Stewart's American Made Craft Finalist.

I am truly blessed & thankful to be doing something that I love!

Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all of your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.

My love for vintage design and calligraphy is a way for me to create something that captures my love for architecture, botanicals, & bridal fashion. With calligraphy & illustration I can create my own antique designs :o)

Thank you for browsing my shop! Let me know if you have any questions; I look forward to making something for you. :o)

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Check
Payment
I accept Paypal transactions and credit cards. I have you pay a deposit (half the full price) for large orders to place your order, and the remaining balance is paid before I ship your item(s) to you.
Shipping
I ship via USPS; each item has a tracking number on it for your convenience.
Shipping is determined based on your location.
Refunds and Exchanges
Because every order is created by hand, they are non-refundable and not eligible for an exchange or return once started. Once you pay the deposit and the information of the order is given and begun, I will not be able to cancel your order. If the order has not been started then I can issue a refund minus a restocking fee for purchased supplies (envelopes, special inks, seals, wax).
Additional policies and FAQs
My calligraphy/art style is very natural looking, it does not look "digitally created". Each handwritten word will have it's own unique look because it is all hand penned, then the finished (and approved) piece is scanned for mass printing. :o)
