About

Where playing with clay is more fun when friends come around!

-FRONT PORCH POTTERY-

I fist saw a pot thrown on a wheel when I was eight years old while watching Mr. Rodgers on television. It was ❤️ with pottery -at first sight. While in middle school I learned how to make hand built pottery with Mr. Isle. Then when I was a sophomore in high school Mrs. Stank taught me how to make pots on the wheel.

I went on to study therapeutic recreation at U.W. Milwaukee and it was in my first job after college that I dove into teaching pottery to children at a wonderful recreation center in Oneida. This is where my love for clay was nurtured and developed into what it is now.

HELLO - Thanks for clicking on my shop. I sure hope you like what you see!

I love to create things with clay! Ever since Mr Rodger's had an episode with a clip of a potter making a pot on the wheel I have been fascinated with clay. My first opportunity was in Mr. Isle class in 8th grade. I felt so special when he stored my project in his office away from where an accident might damage it. Then when I was a sophmore in high school Mrs. Stank taught me how to throw on the wheel.
