Story behind mommyrobeclothing-
My mom and grandmom were seamstresses, I too inherited this quality .. my creative journey started after completing my Textile Designing course from Jaipur. Being creative I ventured of my own to give wings to my thoughts and set up mommyrobeclothing trying different forms of patterns for nursing as well as non nursing ladies. From one of my friend I came to knew about Etsy.I have heard Etsy encourages handmade items..so I am here..No wholesale, all individually sewn at my homestudio ..surrounded by the nature and River Ganges flowing near by.
All dresses are handmade by me and not factory made so you can rely on the quality of fabric as well as stitching.. For each dress I personally shop for fabric, beads, laces , pompoms , buttons, snapbutttons and all the little details. I make these items out of my home studio . From making patterns, editing to wrapping them up to ship to your destination is all done by me. Because everything is handmade you can always request a special item as long as I have the same fabric and all the necessary supplies.

The material is a little bit on the thinner side which will be great for warmer SoCal days. For reference I'm 5"6 and 130lbs and purchased a size small robe with narrower sleeves and regular size pants, both fit not too big or small. Highly recommend!

Has plenty of room to fit well over pajamas. The background color is different than photo- a true blue without the turquoise tint it appears to have-but quite pretty still.

Zhe customer service is really kind, I was contacted because I ordered the dress extra-long and they asked me how tall I was, so they readjusted the length abd it's just perfect now. Only drawback: it's March and I will have to wait some minth until it gets hot to wear the kaftan! Totally recommend this shop!

- As it is individually handmade first so few chalkmarks are there, so first handwash is recommeded before use.
- No color bleeding- so handwash/ machinewash- no issues.
- For Indigo handblockprint, first separate handwash is required .

Care instructions
All dresses are individually handmade by me so there may be few chalk marks which will wash away with first wash. First separate hand wash or machine wash is recommended.

Our fabric are UNIQUE AND AUTHENTIC ...if you like any robe's or caftan's fabric I may stitch in your desired pattern of any maxi dress/ top/tunic/pants etc..please send me custom order regrading it or message me will reply asap.
