About Mona Kay ~ The creator of Blissfully Refurbished

About my furniture:

Blissfully Refurbished furniture is hand-painted, and waxed for protection and for a lustrous finish. Usually the hardware such as drawer or door pulls is exchanged for beautiful vintage or vintage reproduction hardware. I only work on furniture in very good condition, or on pieces which require only light repair (small cracks, scratches, stains, light drawer repair, etc.). The style of the finished pieces has been described as “Farmhouse French”, “Rustic”, and “Romantic”, and fits in well with most home décor styles.

The hand-painted and waxed finish of Blissfully Refurbished furniture can be maintained with regular dusting, and cleaned with a damp cloth. Fingerprints can be removed by rubbing with a dry, soft cloth. Coasters should be used to protect surfaces from beverage glasses.

Thank you for visiting my shop featuring refurbished vintage furniture and other items. All of my pieces are one-of-a-kind, chosen for their beauty and quality, as well as my sheer love for elegant, lovely vintage furniture. I work only on quality items in very good condition-if the item has any flaw, I will disclose it. Most items are vintage era (wood, dovetail drawers, possible laminate top painted to look exactly like the wood body). If a more modern item truly speaks to me (usually more modern drawers, metal tracks, etc, but no less beautiful) I will refurbish it into something wonderful.

Please contact me before purchase for a shipping quote. Average shipping cost is $375.00. All furniture items may also be picked up.

Returns and exchanges
I do not accept returns. I insure all items so please contact me if item is damaged upon delivery - please take pictures of the damage as I will need them for insurance claims. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

I accept credit cards, Etsy gift certificates, PayPal, and cash for in-person pick-ups. I would appreciate payment within 5 days of order to avoid your order being canceled.
Shipping
Please contact me before purchase for a shipping quote. Average shipping cost is $150.00. All furniture items may also be picked up.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please contact me if you would like me to keep my eye out for something in particular, i.e. a mirror, chair, etc. especially if you are local. I am currently looking for a large mirror for one customer, and a piano stool or bench for another. Once I find an item, I will contact you with photos. There is no obligation on your part to purchase until we enter into an agreement that I will proceed with work according to your customization :)
