Hello! I lead a bit of what many consider an unusual life-style; however, it's the only way that I know how to be! I am: a mom FIRST to two incredible children, a celebrity impersonator (I know the question here and the answers are: Marilyn Monroe, Katy Perry, Audrey Hepburn, Gwen Stefani and recently a little Madonna on the side), a stilt walker, a living statue (yes, really), a burlesque performer, a model, an actress, a dancer, a singer, a make up artist, and, as is necessary with this combination of activities, a seamstress. Last year I, made a huge life change which led to this store. At the time I was working as a counter manager for LANCÔME, while I was very lucky to have this position everything else, including my family time, had to take a back seat. My personal life and general sense of well-being suffered greatly and at the beginning of December I took a huge leap and left, with the intention of being able to live solely off of my passions. When Christmas came, I didn't have a ton of money for gifts and decided to make the ones that I could. Among these were two dollies that I made from a pattern the I purchased from Dolls and Daydreams for my daughter's two best friends. Naturally, my daughter HAD to have one, too and the pic that I posted of whom she named "Molly the Dolly" on the almighty FB had a HUGE reaction and resulted in two immediate orders. Soon after I decided to try my rendition of Audrey Hepburn which earned more momentum and everything has continued to grow from there! Since then, I have immeresed my dollies in all of the respective social media outlets and have attended a couple major events to sell and get the word out (Read: to have the excuse to hang out with some of my closest friends at some super cool places). Everything in my shop is hand-made by myself or by some apprentices that I have enrolled (tricked) into my home studio. While I list my more popular designs on here, so far I have specialized in custom orders, particularly look-a-like dolls.
