About

One gal, one of a kind items.

Monkey & Squirrel, named after my two cats, began out of a desire to create unique items for unique people. There are certain times when any old gift just won't due, and it's for these occasions that I hope to fill a void.

I believe there is something so special about creating one of a kind items. The kind of pieces that will hopefully be given with love, held onto for years, and then passed down to be enjoyed again.

There is a reason that embroidery as an art form has stood the test of time. With each stitch the artist is giving a bit of themselves to the creation. It takes time, patience, and love, which can't be replicated by a machine.

I'm honored to design and create pieces for the most important days in peoples lives. If you're interested in a custom item, or have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me for further information.

thanks so much!

a FAQ... do you sell patterns of your work? long story short, i don't. i sketch out each piece with fabric markers before stitching it. this makes each item a one of a kind piece, and never a copy of a copy. if you'd like a custom item you can contact me for info and pricing. thanks so much!
