I LOVE my new monster muff. I will be all snuggly when the cooler weather finally arrives in AZ. The pocket inside is perfect. He is also hanging out with Bucky the skeleton until it is cool enough to venture out.

I actually have a yellow eyed piglet. We realized that our skeleton, Bucky, needed a pet. They are a happy family with the Monster Wrap.

It is 'Blast Furnace Season' here in Phoenix, so the Light Rail cars are freezing. My Monster rides with me to protect me from the Arctic clime. When I am not wearing him, he gets to hang out with my skeleton, Bucky.

Cute, Cuddly, and Creepy Crawly!

I've always loved insects and monsters. I have no idea what began this fascination, and bugs have been in my life, well, all my life! From a scorpion over my bed on a family trip when I was 10, to a centipede found in the backyard, bugs and creatures are all around us.

I was inspired by the closeup photos of jumping spiders. I made my first bug scarf, Umber, for myself but the outpouring of interest made me consider making them professionally. A recent move to beautiful Scotts Valley opened up a chance to pursue my dreams.

Now my monsters and creatures are available for sale and have been featured in several small stores, as well as here.

I am so grateful for the chance to follow my dreams.

Additional policies and FAQs
Q: Do you take custom commissions?
A: Yes. I can make just about anything, so if you have something custom in mind email me at MonsterHatEmporium [!at]

Q: These are super cute, but I'm allergic to natural materials!
A: You're in luck! The furs used in the monsters are entirely synthetic and should not cause allergies. The lining fabrics of hats and purses are all natural cotton and the exterior shells of hats are synthetic fleece. All MHE items are made in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.

Q: What if I'm uncomfortable using Etsy, but still want an item?
A: Send me an email with a link to the item, and I will send you a Paypal invoice. I will charge you a 10% fee for extra handling.

Q: I own a shop and want to stock your product, will you sell wholesale?
A: Yes! I already sell wholesale to several distributors, and I'm always happy to add another one. Email me and we can discuss it.

Q: Isn't it just 1 person? How can you keep up with multiple wholesale distributors?
A: Long hours and sleepless nights.
But seriously though, it doesn't seem so hard when you're doing the thing you love.
