My name is MaryAnn. Welcome to my wirey world! I sell my designs at live events and art shows, in retail outlets, and online. Seeing customers make emotional connections through my artistic expression, is why I continue to create daily.
I do everything in my power to create value. I make each item one at a time, by myself, and everything you see is ready to ship. I take great pride in knowing that each item I create is destined to find a special place with someone who will treasure it.
There are some designs that I recreate, but the nature of these designs is so detailed that they are absolutely one of a kind. I individually photograph each new version, sometimes taking up to 50 photos, cropping and editing each one, choosing the best 10 that will give you an informed view of the item you are considering. If you have a question about an item, feel free to send me a conversation through the Etsy message system.
There is no warehouse, no fulfillment center, just a hard working artist making a living doing what I love to do. I'm not a photographer or a hand model, but my goal is to provide unique, meticulously handcrafted wearable art that remains a treasure for many years.
No one cares more about the customer experience than someone who has put part of themselves into that special item. An artist wants their work to go to someone who is thrilled to have it. So please feel free to contact me at any point to discuss any concerns you might have about your purchase. I truly am a one person, home based business, so from the creation of the product, to the packaging and shipping, I want to know how to make your purchase the best it can be. Custom and personalized orders
I am happy to customize items I have designed and created, such as necklace length or length of bracelets, at no extra cost. I will also change ear wire types on earrings, if readily available, with purchase of custom earring findings listed in my shop. Unfortunately, I am unable to take other types of custom orders at this time.
Gift wrapping and packaging
I package for safe shipping at the best value to you, the customer. Jewelry comes in an attractive white eco-friendly jewelry gift box, to protect your jewelry purchase during shipping. If a jewelry store quality gift box is desired, upgraded packaging is available at an extra cost, with included shipping. (please contact me for options). Basic Gift wrapping is also available and is offered at checkout for a minimal fee.
Care instructions
Unless otherwise specified, the wires I use are specially treated with lacquer coatings that are anti tarnish. Chain, charms and other metal elements are not always conducive to lacquer coating, so protection from oxidation is recommended. As with any metal item, Storing jewelry in air tight zip lock bags will slow any possible oxidation and keep your jewelry looking nice. When polishing is desired, careful rubbing with a clean, soft cloth will remove most oxidation.
Many of my designs are delicate. Continuous wear is not recommended. Avoid wearing wire jewelry with sweaters or other fabrics with a loose weave to prevent snagging.
Can I request expedited processing?
I am committed to prompt service. Everything you see in my shop is ready to ship and orders are processed for shipment the day I receive them. Actual shipping time depends completely on the postal service, and once out of my hands, shipping time is out of my control. A tracking number is provided for your convenience.
Because I am a one-person business, there could be a rare occasion when I cannot process your order on the day I receive it. However, if there is ever any significant delay expected, I will be in contact with you as soon as possible to keep you up to date on the status of your order.
Expedited shipping methods are available at an additional cost. Please contact me if you desire expedited shipping.
Will copper stain my skin?
The copper wire I use is treated with lacquer coatings that seal the wire and maintain the color. If jewelry is handled and stored appropriately, this coating will remain intact and will also protect the skin from discoloration.
