Announcement    **Coronavirus announcement: Due to unprecedented demand our current lead time is 6-8 weeks, we are working as hard as possible to fulfil all orders sooner. If you have a time restraint please message us (before placing your order) and we will see what we are able to do. We'd like to reassure our customers that we take every precaution with our products to ensure that they are clean and safe. At the point of completion our products are thoroughly cleaned before being packaged up. For further peace of mind when your package arrives please un-pack and dispose of the packaging and leave the product to stand for 24 hours before installation, and of course wash your hands. As a small family business we appreciate your support through this period and we will continue to provide the highest level of service whilst taking all precautions that we can to protect our valuable customers and ourselves.**

We believe that timber is beautiful no matter its age or previous use. We try and re-use everything we can in today’s throw away world and hope that we can make a small (and beautiful) difference to our planet and our homes.

We are inspired by the timber and ceramics that we find. Most of our timber was destined for landfill, or to be burnt, and so we take that old no longer loved timber and transform it into something beautiful, giving it a new lease of life to be enjoyed for decades to come. We also work with timber recycling projects in the UK, these not for profit organisations take away unwanted timber from building sites in order to sort it and re-sell to businesses and the general public.

Rustic unique handmade furniture for everyday practical living. We create home lighting from small lamps to stunning chandeliers, working with our clients to make their design ideas into reality. We have a workshop and studio in the stunning grounds of Cockington Court Craft Centre in Devon. In creating our lamps we are inspired by the timber, glass and ceramics that we find. We make lamps for looking at like a piece of art, the filament of each bulb is mesmerising (although most come with a shade ring and so a standard bulb can be used with a shade). We match the bulb to the lamp making the piece itself completely unique. We get a lot of our wood from Timber Recycling Projects whose aim is to rescue, re-use and recycle tonnes of wood otherwise destined for landfill. we also take timber from barn and Mill conversions in Devon and can usually give our clients a brief history of where the timber came from, its original use and age. Each piece of wood that we use will differ slightly from the next as it is reclaimed, but we make sure we choose the best pieces possible and really work on bringing out the natural beauty and colour of the grain. This ensures that each and every lamp, or piece of furniture, or chandelier made by us is unique, a one off. We love all things vintage and can be often found scouring markets, charity shops and eBay for that extra special and unique lovely little gem. 1950's ceramic hot water bottles, interesting jugs and jars can all make wonderful lamps, and we just love a vintage glass lampshade. We believe that timber is beautiful no matter its age or previous use. We try and re-use everything we can in today's throw away world and hope that we can make a small and beautiful difference to our planet and our homes.

Re claim Re use Re love

We believe that timber is beautiful no matter its age or previous use. We try and re-use everything we can in today’s throw away world and hope that we can make a small and beautiful difference to our planet and our homes.

We work in our studio at Cockington Court Craft Centre in Devon. We are happy to discuss your design over the phone, you can call us on 01803 605762. We welcome visitors to our studio and we are open to the public Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4.30pm, by appointment on Sundays and closed Mondays.

We keep track of current styles and trends, we take vintage squirrel cage bulbs, fabric covered vintage style cable and a beautiful piece of wood and, when lovingly worked on and finished, you have a unique and stylish lamp or chandelier. None of our fixtures are the same, each one is unique, its end result dictated by the wood that we find.

We are making more and more chandeliers and they are now our main body of work. We have lots of beautiful reclaimed timber available ready to be transformed into a beautiful and unique chandelier for your home.

We can make basic shapes to order as seen on our Etsy store, but we also make one off designs, also available on Etsy, and will also take commissions. Please have a look at our gallery for examples of our designs or follow the link on our shop page to our etsy store.
