Already owned a set for myself and decided to get more as gifts! I love the colors, and they are super soft. The black cozy/pocket part does show some lint from other items in the wash, but it is not a big deal for me. Would buy these again and again!

Bought these to give to my child's classmates for Valentine's Day. Each one was different and cute. Definitely some I wanted to keep for myself! My child had a great time choosing one for each kid and teacher and I wrapped a little card in each one. We got compliments from the teachers the next day. I would definitely do this again, especially as it encourages the kids to reuse in a fun way!

A Green Idea

I always watched my Mom sew when I was a child. Each night the sound of her sewing machine talked me to sleep, late sometimes. She made the most beautiful dresses and curtains and pillows. She could make anything I could draw! She used to ask me, "how do you expect this outfit to stay up?" Somehow, she always figured it out. After my second child was born in 2006, my momma gave me the first sewing machine. I began buying little flannel baby blankets at garage sales and sewing them into nursing pads and diaper wipes.

At the time I had left my beloved home in Orlando, moving to a place where there weren't many options other than big box stores. Directions to the new house included this instruction: "After the third landfill, take the next exit." There always seemed to be so much trash, especially packaging, on the streets each week. I could not accept the smell of the trash heap in my neighborhood almost every day.

I resolved to do everything possible to leave less trash at the curb and began using cloth diapers for my new baby. Those were times when I really needed an extra buck! Always looking for ways to save money and take care of family, I started sewing out ideas, testing prototypes on myself and kids and going from there... My Mom became the first Moocow investor and graciously accompanied me fabric shopping as I began to make designs into reality.

Over time, I became more skilled at sewing and branched out into using new and different materials, all the while researching the impact of the materials on the environment. Now, I get fabric from everywhere! A collector of sorts, every set begins with a pattern or color that I love. From there sets are built as fabrics present which coordinate in some way. Some of the sets for sale in the shop have taken over a year to put together! There are always little stacks of fabric which need "it", that something which hasn't been found yet. I shop online, in quilt shops and fabric stores. Still plowing through many of the things my Mom had stored away too....

Moocow has come with me through several moves and lots of life changes. Though I've lost my wonderful Mom, the spirit of her ingenuity is my guide. I am passionately obsessed with making beautiful, functional products which are also designed for the purpose of creating less trash. I love what I do, and this little shop has taken on a life of its own, believing in me, even when I wasn't sure if I could keep going.

Moocow studio has a lovely little fireplace, and bolts of colored fabric line the walls just like a fabric shoppe. There is a wonderful cutting table and a folding antique sewing table which I refinished in 2008. Holding court on the main wall is a giant white pine hand ornamented armoir which holds huge fabulous stacks of multi-colored, wild patterned fabric.

Custom order quotes: Prices are subject to change. If I create a price quote for custom items, the amount is good for two weeks from the date of my quote. After two weeks I will need to give you a new price quote.
***Please understand that it is very likely that your order will ship on the last business day listed Every item is hand made and I work in the order received. The shop gets very busy. Double check the shipping times before ordering if timing is crucial. ****

Packages shipped in USA may take as long as THREE (3) weeks to arrive. Please be patient as I do not have control over this. If you wish additional tracking and/or shipping upgrades, please do not hesitate to ask.

Items marked as ready to ship will ship within 1-2 business days.

Custom orders will ship within 5-8 business days after receiving payment and confirmation.

Most regular listing items will ship within 3-6 business days. Some (not many) items take longer as the sewing is complex. Each listing will tell you how long it takes for the item to be made.

For orders with multiple items shipping at the same time, the entire order will ship within the longest time frame listed for the group of items purchased.

If you need a regular or custom item to ship before six business days, please convo me before buying so that I can add expedited processing to your order.

Business days are calculated beginning the day after your order is submitted and paid. Business days are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Holidays are the same as the days the USPS is closed. Business days will be calculated without including holidays or weekend days.

I use very strong and sturdy mailers which are made from 100% post industrial and consumer waste. They are recyclable and reusable!! Use the tear strip to open them and you will have a second one inside to ship your next parcel.

*Flat Rate Shipping*
$7.50 maximum shipping charge for combined orders shipping standard USPS prices: If the Etsy system over-calculates shipping costs, I will refund the difference after receiving your order. If you prefer to have the shipping combined before payment, please send me a note with the entire order and I will make a special listing in the shop with everything all together. This discount will apply only to orders paid for in one transaction and heading to one destination in USA. Additional transactions heading to the same destination will be added for $.30 per transaction and may extend the manufacturing time frame. Priority Mail and Express mail are not included in this pricing and may price higher than $7.50 on single items.

If the order is over $100, an additional $1.00 per $50 will be added for insurance coverage. If you prefer not to have the coverage, just let me know and I will not add it. Uninsured orders lost in the mail can not be refunded or replaced. Insurance covers the cost of the items inside the package only, and does not cover shipping costs or any other costs you may have incurred when ordering. Insurance claims can't be made on packages that are incorrectly addressed.

Wholesale orders do not receive flat rate shipping deals. Shipping and insurance will be handled separately when the order is reserved.

Package tracking and shipping notifications are available online in your Etsy purchases section as soon as your items leave my studio. Not all packages will have tracking. If you see the option to add tracking, then your package will not have tracking unless you add the upgrade. I make every effort to contact you through the Etsy system with order information. If you haven't heard from me, just write for an update. Please make sure to double check that your ship to address is the one you want your package sent to - or the package may take awhile to arrive. I am happy to combine shipping, please convo me anytime if I can be of assistance.

Generally, the USPS offers the most efficient service to international destinations. However, it is strongly recommended that you purchase the additional Insurance on your parcel. Most packages that are lost are sent to International destinations, about 1 in 10. Not sure why, but it seems that packages with insurance arrive more frequently than those without.

Insurance covers the price of the contents inside the package only. It does not cover the cost of shipping the package or any other additional costs you may have incurred when purchasing the order. Insurance claims can't be made on packages that are incorrectly addressed.

Each listing will give you the option to add insurance:

For orders up to $100 US - $2.70 additional
For orders 100.01 to 200 US - $3.85 additional

If you add this insurance after purchasing, the price includes additional transaction fees.

Anything above this amount, send me an email with the entire order for a combined listing, as I can give you a better price on shipping than you will get through the shop's automated system. You will only need to add the extra insurance one time for combined orders shipping to the same destination in one package. If you add too much, I will refund the overage back to your payment account.

*** If insurance is not added and your package is lost, the lost items will not be refunded or replaced***

Please be aware, your order will not be marked as a gift to get around customs officials. They do check packages and confirm that these items are sold and what prices they are sold for. In countries where the USA has a free trade agreement, there are no customs fees for merchandise. However, many countries do have customs/VAT and or Taxes on merchandise imported from USA. It is up to you to determine what you will have to pay and be prepared for this charge. Also, be aware it can take up to 8 weeks for packages to arrive in foreign countries, particularly if they have been opened by customs officials.

Package tracking will be added for all international destinations. I will send you a confirmation email with tracking number as soon as your package leaves the studio. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me for the latest.
Refunds and Exchanges
I'm only human and while I love trying to make each piece to the best of my ability, glitches happen. If this has happened on your order, please contact me! I have learned more from mistakes than anything else. Please don't hesitate to send me a note if your order wasn't fully what you expected it to be. You can be sure I will listen to you and do my very best to fix the problem.

Please keep in mind that screen resolutions WILL vary from computer to computer. If exact color is a high priority, I recommend that you order color swatches first so that you can guarantee colors. I will gladly ship out color swatches within 1-2 business days.

Unless specifically noted in a regular store listing, I will happily refund your purchase price minus shipping price without any questions if you return the item to me within seven days of confirmed receipt. Items must be returned via mail with a tracking number and receipt confirmed. Packages not claimed and returned are eligible for a refund. In this case, shipping, insurance and transaction fees will not be refunded. Items must have tracking and receipt confirmed. If it is a large enough order to receive the combined shipping discount rate, you will also be charged a restocking fee. Expedited processing charges are not refundable. Custom orders are non-refundable. That being said, I always want you to be happy with your purchase and I want to know if something I have made for you isn't working out. Please do not hesitate to contact me anytime.
