The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
Although we try to package your item as carefully as possible, damage in shipping may still occur. If your item arrives damaged, we offer full or partial refunds or replacement. Just send us photos of the damaged item and box it was shipped in and we'll work with you to fix the problem.

**For FULL refund or replacement, you must first send the original item back to us. You are responsible for shipping costs.**

YOU MUST NOTIFY US WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS OF RECEIPT OF YOUR PURCHASE IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED AND/OR REQUIRE A REFUND.
Shipping
We use Priority Mail for all shipping within the US.

Priority Mail takes approximately 2 to 3 days to deliver and comes with tracking.

International orders are shipped via First Class mail and usually takes 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.
If you've paid for the standard First Class postage of $24.99, your item can only be tracked until it reaches customs in your country.
You can upgrade your shipping to Priority Mail International, which can run anywhere from $40 to $60+ depending on your item and location. This will give you tracking to your doorstep and a delivery time of about 6 to 10 days

Please be sure to double-check the address you provide at checkout. Your address is automatically printed onto a shipping label when your order is updated. We do not write out the labels ourselves, so we are not responsible if your package is delivered to the wrong address or returned to us as undeliverable. If it is returned to us because of a wrong address, you are responsible for the shipping costs to send it back out again.

Lost Items in the US:

The post office is a separate company/business/entity. When we're finished doing our part (making, packaging and bringing your item(s) to the post office), your package is then in their hands. If it goes missing, we won't know anything more about its location than you!

If you know your address was entered correctly at checkout, rest assured that *that* is the address that was printed on your shipping label. It is a completely automated process. Your label is then affixed to your package with plenty of tape, so that it doesn't fall off in transit.

If your item shows as delivered but you haven't received it, please follow these steps:

1) Check with family members, friends, roommates and neighbors to see if they've collected it for you and set it aside.
2) Call your local post office to see if it was brought it back to them. (This happens more often than you'd expect.)
3) If the post office doesn't have it, and you (and nobody around you) has it, there's a chance it may have been stolen. In this case, you'll need to file a police report.
4) *After* the above steps have been taken, contact us and let us know what has happened and we can call USPS and open an investigation. (You can also do the same.)

We are not responsible for replacing an item that is stolen from your doorstep — just as a car dealership is not responsible for a car that is stolen from your driveway.
Etsy agrees that if an item shows as delivered, its sellers have fulfilled their part of the order.
If you live in an area where theft is known to occur, please contact us before purchasing and we can add signature confirmation. Signature confirmation costs an additional $2.55.

We understand the anger and frustration of a stolen package. So, to help, we will offer a *discount* on a replacement for you. We will not/cannot replace it free of charge. We would be out a day's wages and the cost of supplies remaking your handmade doll(s) for something that wasn't our fault.
We are not Amazon. We don't have that kind of money, and cannot go to our warehouse and simply pull out another.

Lost Items International:

Sometimes packages are held up in customs for an unnecessarily long amount of time. (Especially in Australia.) If you have not received your item within 2 months (and you've already followed the above steps) contact us and we'll work with you to help complete your order!
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom Orders:

Please check out our shop for select made-to-order items, or check out our Instagram @MoodyVoodies (or browse our sold items) for a catalog of dolls we make.

**Note that we have now discontinued our Nightmare Before Christmas dolls/figures, and our Gomez and Morticia dolls.**

If you're interested in having something made for you, please contact us through our shop so that we can discuss what you need, the cost, and the time it will take to start and complete. When you're ready to place an order for your custom, we will create a reserved made-to-order listing for you in our shop for you to purchase.
When your order is completed, we'll send you photos of your finished item. If you're happy with what you see, we'll pack it up and ship it out! We usually ship packages the next business day, but sometimes it may take an extra day or two to get them to the post office.

Note that when you custom order something we've previously made, it will differ slightly than our original listing or post (stiching, paint, fabric colors, etc.). Although we try to remake an item as close as we can to the original, exact likeness is not possible because all our dolls are handmade. If you're not satisfied with your finished 'one-of-a-kind' order, we'll fix it for you!

Reserved Items:

You can reserve an item only after it has been in our store for 24 hours. We will then reserve it for you for a maximum of 7 days. If the item is not purchased within 7 days, it will once again be available to everyone.

October through December:

We will no longer reserve an item for you unless you've paid a deposit. This is a busy time of year, so we want to ensure that our items are available to anyone who is looking for a holiday gift.
If you'd like to reserve something you see in our shop, please contact us and send a $10 deposit to hold it for you. This deposit is nonrefundable.

Please do not purchase a reserved order unless you are the one for whom it is reserved.
