An absolute 5! The cut of the stone is amazing and smooth. The over all design is beautiful.

About

Welcome to Moondust Moth, my inky grey world of haunting melancholies.

I’m a Dark Surrealism Artist, daydreaming and inking ghoulish lovelies, monsters, and spirit worlds of my imagination. I love ink because it’s beautifully messy and unforgiving. My style is a blend of morbidity and whimsy magic. All of my creations are stitched together with a tremendous amount of scratchy scrawls and love. Thank you for visiting, and supporting my art. xx

Frequently asked questions

Where is your shop located?

I'm based out of Los Angeles, California USA. I work out of my home studio creating my artwork, doing print production, and packing up orders to ship.

What inspires your art?

The Pop Surrealism movement, cosmic glitter vibes, and dark creepy chills. A few artists I'm inspired by include John Kenn Mortensen, Edward Gorey, Jon Carling, Naisa Gomez Pluguez, Sophia Rapata, Paulina Cassidy, and so many other talented creatives.

What mediums are your favorites to use?

Definitely ink, both pens and straight from a bottle, on all sorts of surfaces including paper, canvas, and bristol board. I do sometimes play with other mediums like watercolor and colored pencil, but I always find my way back to ink. There's something seductive and revealing about laying your soul out on paper, unforgiving mistakes and all. It's messy and wild and beautiful.

What is an archival giclée print?

Archival means that the materials used to make the print are of higher end quality and will resist fading, discoloration, and deterioration for the next 100-200+ years. I print all my artwork in my home studio with an Epson inkjet printer using water, smudge, and fade resistant pigment inks and 100% cotton acid-free velvet fine art paper.

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes, I accept custom orders! Shoot me your idea and once approved, I'll get to inking your unique piece.

What is your pricing for custom orders?

Custom orders are normally priced the same as all my other work. 5x7" archival matte giclée prints are $15 each, 8x10" archival matte giclée prints are $20 each, and originals (the actual piece of artwork that I created) are $30-$50. Pricing for certain pieces may vary based on materials used, how detailed the piece is, and if it's a limited edition run.

Your art is too expensive, will you more affordably price custom orders?

I love and value my art. If you like what I create, this is what I charge. If you don’t want to pay it, you don’t have to buy it.

How long will it take to receive my order?

It depends. Parcels are shipped via First Class Mail with a tracking number attached after payment has been received. Every week I pack up all orders on Friday afternoon to be shipped during the weekend. For those in the U.S., it should take 2-9 business days to arrive depending on your location, holidays, & weather conditions. For those outside the U.S., it should take 2-10 weeks for International orders to arrive due to transport, customs, holidays, and weather conditions. If you've placed a custom order, the time it ships out depends on when the order was placed and how long it took me to complete it and finalize payment with you.

What is your return and exchange policy?

I don't accept returns, exchanges, or refunds; please purchase seriously.
