An absolute 5! The cut of the stone is amazing and smooth. The over all design is beautiful.

About

Welcome to my strange, magical world~

Hey there! I'm Paige Ovanisian, a mixed-media Surrealist Artist & Illustrator from the sunflower-speckled Texas countryside, currently living in Los Angeles, CA.

I draw and tell original tales of fantastical fantasy worlds and the magical creatures who live there. Often, my artwork depicts very personal, abstract stories about my life and my deepest, darkest truths.

I love ink and watercolor because it’s beautifully messy and unforgiving; there's something revealing about laying my soul out on paper, unforgiving mistakes and all. It's organic, wild, and powerfully expressive.

Thank you for visiting, I appreciate all the support you're able to give, so I can keep creating my heart out~ xx

Frequently asked questions

Where is your shop located?

I'm based out of Los Angeles, California USA. I work out of my home studio creating my artwork, doing print production, and packing up orders to ship.

What inspires your art?

I often create my art as therapy to help me cope with past trauma, and also as self-exploration through my strange and fantastical imagination.

A few of my greatest influences include: alternative rock, animé, fairytales, female empowerment, Japan, medieval era, nature, paganism, Scandinavia, sci-fi, supernatural lore, the UK, and video games.

A few artists who inspire me: Edward Gorey, John Kenn Mortensen, Jon Carling, Paulina Cassidy, and Tim Burton.

What mediums are your favorites to use?

Definitely ink, both pens and washes straight from a bottle. There's something revealing about laying your soul out on paper, unforgiving mistakes and all. It's messy and wild and beautiful.

What is an archival giclée print?

Archival means that the materials used to make the print are of higher end quality and will resist fading, discoloration, and deterioration for the next 100-200+ years. I print all my artwork in my home studio with an Epson inkjet printer using water, smudge, and fade resistant pigment inks and 100% cotton acid-free velvet fine art paper.

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes - shoot me a message to see if I have any available bookings!

What is your pricing for custom orders?

Most personalized commissions start at $30-50 depending on the sizing and complexity of the request, plus $15 per hour I work on the piece and shipping costs. A standard commission could cost anywhere from $50-$300+, and could take as long as 1-30+ days to complete and ship. If you're interested in requesting a custom artwork, please message me and I will set up a listing for you. I require payment upfront, and do not accept refunds due to cancellations; please purchase seriously.

Your art is too expensive, will you more affordably price custom orders?

I love and value my art. If you like what I create, this is what I charge. If you don’t want to pay it, you don’t have to buy it.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Every week I pack up all orders on Friday afternoon to be shipped during the weekend. Once I've dropped your order off at the post office it's literally out of my hands; I have no control over weather conditions, holidays, international customs, etc. If you've placed a custom order, the time it ships out depends on when the order was placed, and how long it took me to finalize payment with you and complete the piece.

What is your return and exchange policy?

I don't accept returns, exchanges, or refunds; please purchase seriously.
