Announcement
These are some of the beautiful plants and mountain wildflowers of Southern California's San Bernardino National Forest, including some rare species that grow only in the pebble plains of Big Bear Valley.
The pebble plain is a unique and fragile habitat that is found only in the San Bernardino mountains; an open, high-altitude dry area that consists of clay soil and quartzite pebbles that are forced to the surface through frost-heaving. Living on the pebble plain is a diverse plant community, including small, low-growing pad- or cushion-like plants and tiny annuals, some of which you will see pictured on my cards and calendars.
Thank you for visiting!

Andy and Jenna are my loving and adorable fur-kids. They both came from shelters, as do ALL GREAT DOGS. I got Andy at Ramona Humane Society, in Southern California, and Jenna at BARC (Benevolent Animal Rescue Committee) in Cherry Valley, California.
