MoonHoney was born out of my passion for rescuing textiles and creating one-of-a-kind wearable art. I learned to sew (by hand) when I was 5, and have been deconstructing and reconstructing clothing ever since.

I began upcycling second hand clothing out of necessity, and soon found that using reclaimed materials was directly in line with one of my core values: doing what I can to lessen my impact on the Earth and her resources. I am grateful that my work-at-home business allows me to contribute to my family's household, and have more flexibility in the raising of my two sweet children!

I am inspired to create clothing that allows people to express their creativity, and to show that upcycled and reclaimed materials can be fun and beautiful!
