Great service, quick responses to questions. The album is just what I needed it for and it's great quality and came very quickly. Thanks!

My friend is leaving for Australia for a couple of weeks, and I thought this was the perfect gift to help her document her trip. The journal is very well made; it was a little smaller than I expected- but I actually prefer the smaller size, as it's perfect for traveling and packing!! I can't wait to give it to my friend! Thank you!

I am a book conservator, bookbinder and a librarian - all things book!

I started my shop in 2007 on a whim. I posted a few poorly photographed (in hindsight) journals and notebooks and was thrilled when I quickly had a sale. When I started doing craft fairs - Crafty Bastards was my first show ever in 2008 - business really started to boom.

The connections I make to my customers are what keep me motivated. I have regular customers who have become friends. Many people keep in touch and even send me stories of how they use my journals. One was even used for a wedding proposal!

Dragging bookbinding into modern times by combining ancient techniques with found and re-purposed materials I infuse my books with history and fun. When not creating in my home-based studio I work as a rare book conservator and teach bookbinding.
