Some of my happiest memories are those treasured moments spent alone with grandma where she taught me many things.
Grandmother was a laundress, so I believe I got my love of linens through her as I used to assist with the laundering. We washed the clothes with a ringer wash machine then walked up the cellar steps outside to hang them out to dry on the clothes line.
She had 8 children and used her treadle sewing machine daily--lots of times with me sitting on her knee watching her crooked fingers working the cloth through the machine.
My love of vintage hankies and linens got me the nickname of "the Linen Lady" at my Antiques Shop

Grandma had large tins filled with buttons and that is where my love of buttons came from

Payment for her laundress duties and house cleaning duties sometimes came in jewelry. We would sit and look at her jewelry collection and I was always welcome to wear the pieces.

So this instilled my love for jewelry and it has taken me to many old barns, estate sales and many auction houses where I have found unexpected treasures. For example, I literally stumbled across an old blanket box protruding from the dirt floor of a barn.
Since I paid for the entire contents of the barn, the box was mine!! In it I found many lovely lace hankies, old books, hats, and my beloved jewelry...most were salvageable. And this led to me opening my own antiques store.

My interest in healing stones and crystals came to me from my beautiful daughters. We would walk the beaches every summer for weeks and collected all kinds of stones.
This led to my interest in healing stones and crystals and I never let go of this wonderful part of the world.
It has become one of my passions.
My home is full of them and their wonderful energy.
I now have thousands of healing stones and crystals in every shape and form I can find and love to share them with others.
Most of them are found here in the many mines of AR.
We go through thousands of crystals to select the best ones to bring to our company
My husband and I then clean them, cut and shape some of them, tumble and polish them before we show them to our customers
Some come from other countries like India Brazil and Mexico and the owners of those mines know to send me only A grade.

Crystals are one of the oldest forms of healing.
Their healing properties were recorded more than 3,500 years ago by the Ancient Egyptians and by cultures in China and India.
Indeed, crystals have always been a big part of the folk wisdom of ordinary men women and children.

I cleanse and charge every healing stone and crystal before being shipped to you and I offer instructions on how to cleanse them yourself.
I enjoy many bowls and plates full of healing stones and crystals all over my home and would love to share some of them with you
I am lucky to live here in Arkansas where we have many mines of crystals. I also buy lots of stones from my many qualified sources , then I hand cut, and polish some of my healing stones for jewelry and collectors.
Working with and owning healing stones and crystals is one of my passions and it is always a joyful experience each day holding and working with them
