moonstarpottery's Shop Announcement

Moonstar Pottery is a one-person studio (that's me!) selling contemporary pottery for over 20 years.

Everything I make is either thrown on the wheel or hand-built from white stoneware and fired in a gas kiln.

I would never have believed that the traditional wet shave community would become some of my biggest customers. My men's shaving scuttles are a big hit here on Etsy and I love to think of all those guys starting their day off with a Moonstar Pottery scuttle.

My other functional work includes lots of dinnerware, vases, platters, cups and I make all my glazes which are lead-free, microwave, dishwasher safe and intended for everyday use.

The other work are my wall tile hangings and vases which have a distinctive decoration know as mocha diffusion. This process is done with other clay and colorants while the piece is still wet. My vases made with this decor are perfectly waterproof, as they have a regular glaze on the inside, but they should not be put in the dishwasher.
The tile work is all mounted on wood with a waterproof epoxy and is ready to hang.

moonstarpottery's Shop Policies

Welcome to Moonstar Pottery. I have 20 years of experience selling my pottery at wholesale and retail shows. I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to show my work to you!

I prefer PayPal, but will also accept money orders or checks. Items will ship on receipt of payment.

I almost always ship USPS priority mail. Less time in transit = less chance of damage.
I bubble wrap and pack in peanuts or crushed paper. I have the neighbors trained to save all their packing materials for me, so any of those non-environmentally sound packing peanuts are being re-used rather than thrown away.
I try to ship out within 2 days of your order.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS -Buyer is responsible for any additional fees that may be charged at customs.
