Another new skein in the shop! It would make a fantastic cowl or scarf for the chilly weather that will soon be here.

About

I just couldn't quit dyeing yarn.

When I first discovered Etsy many years ago, I started dreaming about selling my own handspun yarn here. Maybe even handspun and dyed. I didn't even know how to spin yet, but I wanted to. When I did learn to spin, I found out I could not part with that yarn. It was just too precious to me.

At about the same time I started dyeing yarn trying to get just the right color of red for a sweater. I eventually lost interest in the sweater, but not the dyeing. I love trying to get just the perfect shade for a pair of socks, a scarf, or for the sake of the perfect color.

I dye nearly solid colors because they are what I love. I love that they are not truly solid. The variations in the skeins are what make me want to dye more.
