I'm so happy with this ankle bracelet. It looks and feels great and people are always surprised when they look close enough to see that it is made of nuts! I can't say enough positive things about Moonstone Mary. I look forward to doing business with her again!

About

Moonstone Jewelry & Design offers handmade quality

When I was in high school, I had a girlfriend JT. One day, I noticed her wearing some very cool dangling earrings. When she told me she made them, I ran to the hardware store for a spool of copper wire, round nose pliers and wire cutters. After I made a pair like hers, I altered the design to include some little purple wood beads. Then I started creating my own designs. As an uninhibited teenager, I was able to raise spending money any time I wanted by walking up and down the street selling my handmade copper wire earrings.

Later after getting married, having babies, and working in offices, I sent for a kit from a company that paid home workers to make bead woven earrings. Included in their package was 3 different colors of glass beads and instructions. Once I made a dozen pairs of their design, I went out and bought many more colors of glass beads and started creating my own designs. I found making the same pattern of earrings over and over again to be tedious so I did not sign up for their program. I continued to create jewelry for myself, friends and family.

The move into the southwest really turned my bead adventures into an actual business. In 2005 I started Moonstone Jewelry & Design from my Tucson home. Then in 2009 I opened an Etsy shop.

A few years back, I began to learn more complex wire wrapping techniques. Recently started experimenting with fun ring designs with some very satisfactory results.

In addition to my jewelry adventures, I play French Horn with local orchestras, bands and small groups. I love being part of the local arts community.

I also love being connected with other Etsy shops via Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Twitter. I am Moonstone Mary just about everywhere in social media. My biz Facebook page is www.facebook.com/MoonstoneJewelryDesign.

Thank you for visiting my shop. I love making jewelry and welcome feedback. Take a look around and if you see something that makes you say, "I love that but red isn't my color", send me a message. I have many different beads, stones, wire, baubles, chains and crystals so would be happy to rework any pattern here to perfectly match you. After all, it's the beauty of handmade jewelry - it's not cookie cutter because we aren't all the same. Life would be so boring if we were.

Payment
This shop accepts PayPal and credit cards. However, you do not need a PayPal account to use their services. Choose PayPal as your payment method at checkout. After your order has been submitted, click "Pay Now" and choose your preferred option including credit or debit card.

Using a personal check for payment is possible. But it will delay shipping of your item until the check has cleared. Local Tucson residents may contact the owner for free in person delivery depending on your exact location. Also one on one jewelry making classes are available for local Tucson residents.
Shipping
I ship within the US by USPS First Class Mail which includes tracking information. All items you see in my shop in stock will be shipped within 2 business days.

I can adjust the shipping charge for an upgrade but in my experience the only upgrade that really gets there faster than First Class is Overnight. Most orders will ship across the country in 3 - 4 days.

At this time, I do not ship internationally. If you live in Canada or the UK and are interested, I would be happy to prepare an estimate for shipping charges. You need to provide your complete address. Shipping time will take an extra 1-2 weeks to Canada & the U.K.
Refunds and Exchanges
I guarantee the quality of materials and workmanship of each piece coming out of my shop. I test each item, making sure it is sturdy enough to hold up to daily wear. I include care instructions with each piece of jewelry. If you have any problems with your new jewelry, please contact me (Mary Phillips) immediately. Since each circumstance is so different, I believe in personally providing answers and solutions so do not have a blanket refund policy. But I value every customer and want you to be happy.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom items will require 50% up front after the design is worked through and an estimate is provided. The estimate will include approximate completion time.

The balance is due on completion before shipping.
