I love the hunt.

Greetings from New Rochelle, New York!
New Rochelle is located in Westchester County, on the Long Island Sound. “Forty-Five Minutes from Broadway,” the musical and song by George M. Cohan, was written about New Rochelle. "Ragtime," the novel and musical by E.L. Doctorow, takes place in New Rochelle and was written in Mr. Doctorow's New Rochelle home. Thomas Paine, Norman Rockwell, and Lou Gehrig are just a few of New Rochelle’s famous past residents. And Rob and Laura Petrie “lived” here too! But you may be too young to remember The Dick Van Dyke Show :)

I have been involved in the wonderful world of antiques and vintage in one way or another for over 30 years. I have always been drawn to things that are old and have a history...from dinnerware to architecture and everything in between. I actually get uncomfortable if I am around too much of anything new and perfect! It just doesn’t feel “right” to me.

I love to hunt for vintage treasures at estate sales, tag sales, flea markets, consignment shops, thrift stores, and even in piles of trash. Our home is full to capacity, so I enjoy offering my finds in my Etsy shop and sending them on their way to a new life.

Sure, you can buy lots of pretty things at a mall or big-box store, but including vintage in your home decor allows you to be more creative and unique...more “you.” Vintage helps make a home interesting, warm, and welcoming.

Vintage is my passion...I hope you find something in my shop that ignites that passion in you.
