This is Clyde, our shop kitty. We love him.
This is the dead of summer...no a/c so we have fans galore!
Moop bags are always our companions when exploring the forest. This is the Cook Forest, one of our favorite places.

Every Moop bag is designed and manufactured, start to finish, in Seattle, Washington.

Moop was founded in 2007, in a beautiful live/work space I shared with my daughter and kitty named Mouse in Western Massachusetts. We all moved to Pittsburgh where we lived and work for a dozen years and recently, we relocated to sunny Seattle, where we design and manufacture every Moop bag. Through the generous support of each of our customers, we have been able to grow Moop into a dynamic company providing jobs for a handful of the greatest assistants and production partners anyone could imagine. We are super excited to have built a business that provides a living for ourselves as well as those who work for us. Thanks for continuing to support hand manufacturing and helping us to create jobs by shopping at Moop. We build the best bags around and will continue our journey for many years to come.

Care instructions

Waxed canvas bags cannot be machine washed or dryed (really, it's not a good idea to machine wash any bag). The best option is to hose off with cold water and hang dry.

Custom and personalized orders

We are a small and busy team and do not take on individual custom order requests. If you are a company and would like to purchase in quantity, please get in touch and we'll work up a quote: info@moopshop.com

Wholesale availability

Gift wrapping and packaging

Our bags are all individually wrapped and packaged...while we do not offer custom gift wrapping services, you'll be pretty happy to open your package and find that is is very giftably wrapped.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns on orders over $450, will be charged a 20% restocking fee. We understand that sometimes people like to order several bags to see in person but, this means we are making every single bag for your order, most of the time from scratch, prioritizing your order over other orders, holding things up down the line. If your intention is to order a bunch of bags but you don't plan on keeping them all, please get in touch with questions first and we can set up a phone call to help you decide on the right bag for you. Every Moop bag is made by hand in our downtown Pittsburgh studio storefront.
