5 out of 5 starsI am so impressed with this Etsy seller: He was fast to communicated, took on a unique project for me, shared his progress along the way, charged a (beyond) fair price, and shipped quickly. Highly recommended!!!

5 out of 5 starsThomas is one of the most talented people I’ve had the pleasure to work with. He’s quick to answer messages and always very efficient with the items I have him create for me. I’m very thankful to have found such a great person to work with on a consistent basis.

About moorefinewoodworking
I have a passion for woodworking and enjoy bringing the natural beauty of wood into people's lives.
I have enjoyed woodworking since a young age. It's fascinating watching wood transform from a simple board to a useful item or a work of art. I work with not only domestic woods but also exotic woods from all over the world. Each different species of wood has its own properties and characteristic.
The exotic woods I currently work with the most are:
- Padauk which is grown in Africa. This wood is red in color with dark streaks found throughout.
- Zebrawood which is also grown in Africa. This wood has a golden brown background with dark brown, almost black, veining producing a zebra-stripped appearance.
- Sapele which also grows in Africa. This wood is reddish brown in color.
- Lacewood which is produced from a number of trees. Lacewood is reddish brown with light brown rays which results in a lace pattern in the wood.
I also work with walnut, cherry, oak, pine, maple and osage orange. Osage orange is an interesting wood as it is yellow in color.
Wood is a beautiful natural resource. I have the pleasure of creating useful items and forms of art in my wood shop , built by my great grandfather, in a small town in Pennsylvania.
Forest products are a mainstay of Pennsylvania agriculture. Forests cover more than 60% of Pennsylvania.
