5 out of 5 starsWonderful quilt from the talented Carol!! She made it custom for me and it was worth the wait. The price was very reasonable for such an intricately executed item. Highly recommend!

This queen size quilt was a gift for a long-time friend.

I have half of the top sewn together and the other half almost sewn into blocks--four more to go!

A small celebration of the 18 years + that I have continued to live, love, and quilt after my breast cancer diagnosis.
Always sewing or thinking about quilts...
I opened my Etsy shop after my home began filling up with finished and unfinished quilts. I became an almost obsessive compulsive quilter after breast cancer therapy in 2002, though I have always had a fabric fascination. My preference is to use rich, bright colors in my projects. most of which are bed-sized quilts. I've more recently been making smaller wall hangings and pillow covers.
My first attempt at making a quilt was before the advent of rotary cutters and such modern helpful tools. It took me 10 years to finish that first quilt. But it was a busy time, raising my daughter and son and working full time.
I make the highest-quality home-made quilts from cotton fabrics. I quilt them myself on my home sewing machine or a rented longarm. They are truly heirloom quality items and make great gifts, whether for a wedding, anniversary, graduation, or just to cuddle under. If you see an item you like but want in other colors, please contact me. I'm willing to make customized items. Thanks for stopping into my shop!
If you'd like to see some of my other pieces, I have a Flickr account under moosecarolquilts where I have posted some of my UFO's and works in progress, as well as photos of some pieces I've given away. Like my FaceBook page or follow my Twitter feed to keep up with new items, coupon codes, team activities, and such. Wishing you blessings and lots of cuddles!

I was born and raised in Utah, where Home Economics was an expected class for girls in middle and high school. (Though I also took Shop and Drafting). So I have sewn for many many years, mostly on the 1950's vintage Pfaff my Dad bought for my Mom
