Morelle: Twin sisters dream

Morelle is owned by twin sisters Jenny and Katie Grigoratou. It was founded in 2007 by Katie in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Katie is a self-taught designer with nothing but pure creative power and resolve. She started morelle completely as a hobby on the side of her full time job, learning as she went along. In less than a year after she started, she had quit her full time job and Etsy even invited her to be a featured seller.

After a couple of years of success and a break due to personal circumstances Katie was back to the sewing table and this time her sister Jenny followed.

While Katie is the creative one, Jenny is the analytical genius. They both knew that to run a label you need both creativity and to be business savvy and that together they would have the perfect match.

Morelle-designs combine feminine style with practicality. The basic style of the bags is chic, stylish and a little bit playful. At the same time they are all functional and built to resist the everyday wear and tear. Katie's unconventional introduction to design has resulted in unusual and maybe a little bit quirky design style.

Morelle bags are made with genuine Italian cowhide leather. We try to use the best materials available so our bags will be sturdy and last forever.

Welcome to our shop!

We want your morelle experience to be as pleasurable as possible. Please read our policies below carefully to make your purchase smooth and easy.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
We accept paypal and credit card payments.

Shipping
We always ship with registered mail so you will need to sign your package upon receipt. For this reason it might be wise to have your bag delivered to your work address.
Items are shipped within one week of received payment.

Items are shipped with International Priority Registered Mail. You will receive a tracking number to follow the progress of your package. Please note, we do not send by courier but by regular postal service. This means to track your package you need to track the package with your own country's postal service. For example, for the US it would be USPS, for Canada it would be Canada Post. The package will appear once it has entered the country so check about 3 days after you receive your tracking number.

Delivery dates from the shipping date range from one to two weeks for the US, Canada and Australia and it takes about one week for Europe. Please note, it is normal for a week or two delay, items may be held in customs for check.

We always ship to your ETSY address. Please make sure that this address is correct and updated. If you want us to ship your bag to another address send us a message.

- INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS -

Packages may be held in customs (although very rare) and therefore be delayed. You will be able to see if your package is held in customs via the tracking information.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns are possible. If your bag is not exactly what you expected then you can return it provided you return it within 1 to 2 days of receipt. We will refund you the amount of the bag minus the shipping cost. Please contact us if you would like to return your bag for instructions on how to do so.

Refunds will NOT be given if:

- A bag does not get back to us because of fault of the buyer.
- The bag has been used and/or has signs of wear & tear

Please note that specifications on the size of the bag are on the listing. Please make sure you read these correctly so you don't receive a bag that is not the size you expected. Please also note that colors may vary from display to display. We try to display the colors as accurately as I can but capturing the correct color on a picture is quite hard (I'm not a professional photographer) and in addition colors appear different from screen to screen. If the color is not what you expect it please send back the bag asap and you will receive a refund.

EXCHANGES

We accept exchanges on the same terms as the refund. As soon as we receive the bag and make sure that it is in top condition then we can send you your other selected bag. The buyer will have to pay for the shipping cost of both bags.

- CARE FOR YOUR BAG -

Your bags come with care instructions. Some hides are more sensitive than others so to be safe we would always recommend that you take your bag to a professional leather dry cleaner and seek for advice on what is more appropriate for your bag.

ALWAYS USE PROTECTIVE SPRAY ON YOUR LEATHER BAG BEFORE FIRST USE AND REPEAT ACCORDING TO THE LABEL INSTRUCTIONS.
