It’s a chilly night. I want to wrap a bit of this cozy Ecuadorian fabric around my neck!
I've been doing some summer projects. This is an easy peasy no-sew project. I made this bulletin board with my staple gun. You don't have to know how to sew to enjoy beautiful fabrics in your home!

About

More Love Mama Global Textiles--a unique collection of fabrics from around the globe. African, Australian, Guatemalan, Indian, Indonesian, and more!

More Love Mama began as a way to raise funds for the adoption of our middle sons from the Democratic Republic of Congo. I started making handmade blankets out of African wax print fabrics that I brought home from Congo. I loved the idea that each of my blankets would wrap someone else in love. More Love.

I continued sewing through 2 more adoptions. Eventually my shop turned into a location for shoppers to find fabrics from around the world: African Wax Prints, Australian Aboriginal Prints, Indonesian Batiks, and more.

I now have 6 kids, more love than I could have ever imagined, and only 2 or 3 spare minutes a day. But I love to spend that spare time soaking up the beautiful designs of the fabrics I sell and sew from. More Love brought me to this place. More Love keeps me creating. More Love feeds my soul.

Come on in, look around, enjoy all the beautiful colors and patterns.

I am the mama to 6 kids brought together through international adoption from China and DRCongo. I love to laugh, I love to play, and I love to sew. Since no one is going to pay me to laugh or play I'm hoping I can put my sewing to good use.

Frequently asked questions
Can I pick up my fabric from your shop and skip the shipping charge?

Unfortunately, I don't have a brick and mortar shop yet, but if you live close by I can sometimes arrange to meet you for delivery. You can send me a message to make arrangements. Keep in mind that I ship by Priority Mail so a local delivery is usually over night and often just as convenient as trying to arrange a pick up time.

Exactly how big is the piece of fabric I'm buying?

I sell most of my fabrics in 1/2 yard increments. The prices you see listed are for pieces that are approximately 18 inches by 44 inches. If you want a full yard of fabric you must order a quantity of "2".

If you order more than one 1/2 yard, I will leave the fabric in one continuous piece.

Some of my fabrics are sold by the panel. The size of panels varies, but they are sold this way because they have a pattern that would be ruined if it wasn't kept in one whole piece. Panel pieces are great for clothing, blankets or wall art.

Be sure to order plenty of fabric for the project you want to make. Many of my fabrics are one of a kind pieces and may not be in stock if you need to order more.

Why are International Shipping prices so high?

I ship all of my products using USPS. I have found this to be the fastest and most reliable way to ship my fabric. It is at this time, also the most economical. Keep in mind that for the shipping price listed for my International orders that I can ship up to 6 yards (12 quantity) of fabric for the same price as 1/2 yard. So it is definitely a better deal to order more and spread that shipping cost over 6 yards of fabric.

This fabric is not exactly what I wanted. Can I return it or exchange it?

We are happy to accept fabric back for a refund, but we do not process exchanges. We will issue a refund via your original method of payment upon receiving the returned fabric.

* Please note, you must contact us within 10 days of the purchase date and the fabric must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date.

* Fabric must be unused/uncut/unwashed and in the original purchase condition.

*The buyer will be responsible for return shipping and the original shipping costs will not be refunded.

How do I care for my fabrics?

I sell a wide variety of fabric and they have different care requirements. I include specific care instructions in each fabric listing, but in general:

Wax Prints/Indonesian Batiks/Australian Aboriginal Prints can be machine washed and dried.

South African Shweshwe can we machine washed and dried in cool temperatures. Before washing you should soak them in warm water to remove starch.

Guatamalan Handwoven fabrics and Indian Ikats should be hand washed and lined dried.

Tuareg Java Prints should be washed first with a color stabilizer or in vinegar to set the dye. Then they can be washed normally after that.

All of my fabrics have super saturated colors and should be washed separately for their first few washes.
