A love of beautiful things...
I feel happier when I'm making things - it's that simple! As a teenager I hand-pieced a couple of patchwork cushions (not the usual teenage rebellion!), and when I had children and stopped full-time work for a while, I turned to the grown-up delights of sparkly beads...
I've always loved jewellery, and have very clear memories of my favourite necklace as a child (fake pearls and glittery beads), and a little silver bracelet and locket given to me as presents when I was a bridesmaid. The necklace broke, and I was devastated, but I've still got the locket and the bracelet! Making my own jewellery has been wonderful: it's so much fun to do, and fantastic that other people like it too. At first, friends and family bought my designs, then they encouraged me to sell them more widely.
Having an Etsy shop makes it all real - it's not just a game at home, but a real business. As my children grow, I'm planning to learn more of my craft and expand my skills as a designer. I recently started selling in a local boutique as well, and love the feedback I get when meeting my customers face to face. It's exciting!

Hello! In my day job I'm a school-teacher but have also worked in Arts Admin, librarianship, and spent a few happy years as a full-time home-maker. I love the great outdoors, but need a good strong cup of tea to get me going in the morning!
Shop policies
All the items in my shop are designed and made by me; I've tried to write detailed descriptions of each piece but do get in touch if you'd like more information about any of the designs or components.
I'm always happy to make one-off bespoke designs for customers, so if you have a design in mind, or a dress that is just crying out for a matching necklace, or someone really special who deserves a unique gift, do get in touch!
Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
UK buyers: As a British shop all items except earrings (which are exempt from this for hygiene reasons) are covered under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) meaning you can cancel your order within 7 days and get a full refund, including the original postage. Please contact me as soon as you change your mind, and then return the item in original condition. You are responsible for the return postage, and I recommend using a tracked service as I can't be responsible for items lost in the post.
Overseas buyers: I can only offer a refund if the item you've received is faulty. Please photograph the fault carefully and then contact me to discuss returns, repair or replacement options.

Shipping
Delivery time to the UK is 1 - 3 working days; to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand approximately 7 - 10 working days; occasionally overseas orders are delayed during transit through customs, but I have no control over this and can only ask you to be patient if this happens.
Custom orders may take longer, but I'll keep in touch with you so you know what to expect.
If your Etsy and PayPal addresses do not match please message me to confirm which address you want items sending to. I won't post anything until addresses are confirmed.
Shipping costs include gift-wrap and secure packaging as standard, but don't cover insurance, customs charges or local taxes that may apply for international deliveries. Please check out your local customs or tax rules so you know what you will be liable for.
