I’m disappointed. There wasn’t enough glass to finish this project, and for the cost, it seems chintzy... nice packaging / wrapping though. I’d post a photo of my finished product, but I had to order more tile for the second coaster which is very frustrating. Next time I’d pass and would not recommend.

Broken to Beautiful
I love the metaphor of mosaics-- how our lives are like a bunch of broken, cracked, scraped, unwanted, and discarded plates. We don't always fit in, we are no longer pretty and we feel replaceable. We end up on the give-away pile of life. Then God comes in and says He is making something new and beautiful. He takes the brokenness of our lives-- the shards, the cracked pieces, and the discarded junk -- and makes us new, different but beautiful. With purpose. Mosaics reminds me of this unconditional, everlasting love and care.
I began doing mosaics in 2014 when I saw someone post some of her own work on social media. I gave it a whirl, fell in love instantly and have been honing my skills ever since. My DIY Kits and my on-sight classes make it possible to share the fun of mosaics with you!
Mosaics reminds me that our brokenness is never wasted. I may not use a small broken piece of glass or ceramic the day it breaks, but I always save it for I have learned someday it will be just the piece I need to complete a work of art. God does not waste a thing --He may not use our brokenness at the moment we break in two, but He promises to work all things for good eventually. The parts of us that seem to be of no good use will be the perfect piece to complete his work of art.
Creating is good therapy!
