Perfect little notecards feature segments from our beautiful Mother Beach illustrations including scattered beach glass and whimsical scenes from the story. Sold individually and in a lovely boxed set of 6 assorted cards.

25 years in the making... Mother Beach (The joy of finding beach glass)
In 2018 I came across a poem I had written more than 20 years prior. Not only did it stir fond childhood memories of summers spent at the cottage on Grandma's beach, it still felt relevant today, decades later. It was during COVID and I thought... people are gonna need a soft landing spot after this is over. I could think of no better place than the beach. I edited the poem, worked with an illustrator, and in 2021, published Mother Beach (the joy of finding beach glass), as a gift book.
We are very grateful to all the talented individuals and production partners who played a role in our success. And, we're especially proud that it was printed and manufactured in America, as you can see by our star-spangled sunset sticker.
Our little joke is that from beginning to end, Mother Beach took almost as long to create as it takes beach glass to form... It was well worth the time and now we are super excited to provide Mother Beach on Etsy!
