Note from shop owner Thank you for an awesome year! I will be back after the New Year! I will miss you all, I am so thankful for you allowing me to bring my art into your home.

If you want to place a custom order or any order I won't be able to work on anything until around January. I am taking a short break. Please message me at a later date and I will be more than happy to try and accommodate you. ! I stick to food and video game related pieces so please keep that in mind.

I am using this much needed time to focus on spending time with my family, my daughter and husband & our new puppy...even visit with my mom while she's in town for the holiday. (Typically I miss everything Holiday time as I work 8 hours at my day job, then work on my miniatures for another 6-8 hours after my day job...leaving only a few hours for sleep. It's caught up to me and I deserve a break. ..

.Maybe this year I'll get to make actual edible food! Lol Im thinking a really cool homemade Gingerbread house?! (I'll post pics)

Finally, I just want to say, that unlike the large box stores, Etsy is made up of regular people. Some of us work full time jobs and make things on the side, some people are fortunate enough to work Etsy full time. Whatever the situation is, it's people like you who allow us to make even a part of our dreams of creating and selling art a reality. Making things with our hands while balancing life.. So again, I thank you and I'll see you all soon!

About

It's the Little Things That Matter!

Hey there!
I'm Monica, and I make all of these little things in my shop!
I have always been crafty and made clay food for my dolls as a little kid in the mid 80's. However, I found my true miniature calling in 2008 after seeing a clay cupcake online. It was a pretty basic cupcake design and I said, "I can do that" so I did. Then I got obsessed with making things and I haven't stopped since!

I believe I was destined for more than just "existing". Growing up I always thought I would be someone people would see and say, "Oh cool, it's Monica look what she can do..." or something along those lines. In the past few years I have established that for myself through my artwork. Sculpting makes me happy and I get to sell my artwork all over the world. I love going to sleep at night knowing that there are lots of people who get to smile on this planet because of something I made.

Recently my work has been featured on Olivia Wilde's Instagram page, People Magazine online, The NY Times and I have done work with Hidden Valley Ranch and make custom pieces for Manny's Deli in Chicago. My work has also been recognized in online articles on BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post, MSNBC's Cupcake Take the Cake blog. General Mills, featured an article about my miniature cereal bowl necklaces on their website. In 2012 Franks Red Hot's Facebook page promoted my popular Franks Red Hot sauce bottle earrings.
