Love this shop! Everything shipped is exactly what I expected, and it arrived fast! Haven't had a chance to plant these seeds yet, but past orders have been spectacular, so I have no doubt the flowers will be beautiful!

Zinnia photo shoot on my upstairs balcony. It's also my favorite morning coffee and garden magazine spot!
The Tithonia plants are almost finished blooming and are setting seeds. The small butterflies are still collecting nectar as I harvest seed this afternoon.
The Hyacinth Bean Vine has reached the upstairs balcony. The hummingbirds have been buzzing the flowers all day!

About

Heirloom Seeds and Plants and Lots of Herbs!

I was born in Miami Florida and inherited my father's love of plants. He was an avid collector of tropical fruit trees and plants. I grew up playing in our very own 'jungle'. Plant maintenance is fairly aggressive in tropical regions and a machete is a must have garden tool. My plant palette has evolved and I design gardens that are low on maintenance and high on impact. The gardens I create also keep nature in mind. I encourage birds, bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects to take up residence in the garden. Choosing the right plant for the right growing conditions eliminates the need for chemicals and can also keep watering to a minimum.

I began my horticultural training at an herb nursery in Jefferson, Georgia. I was amazed at all the variety and scents the herb world offered. This is where I first encountered the scented geraniums and have been collecting them ever since. I feel like many herbs are overlooked for their ornamental purposes and I regularly use them in my garden designs. I am an avid propagator and plan to keep adding to the list of plants I offer.

I moved to NW Arkansas from the Athens, Georgia area 10 years ago. I spent a summer working on the Fayetteville, Arkansas historic square gardens. I spent the next three years as the Head Gardener at the new Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. I am currently a garden designer for private clients in Northwest Arkansas. Mountainlily Farm is the name of my garden in the Ozark Mountains. I have a large vegetable garden and enjoy home canning. I have several garden areas that are large, natural style plantings and include many Ozark Native plants.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photographic Design from the University of Georgia. I will be offering a few of my favorite fine art nature photographs. I am working with an outside professional photographic print service to offer high quality prints in a wide range of sizes and styles.

I also have a vintage Etsy shop please visit antiqueflorals.etsy.com
