Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I would love to create a monster with clothes/material provided by you. Email me so we can talk about it!

Sizing details

My monsters are in the "medium" size, which is usually around 12" wide by 12" tall. If you'd like a smaller or bigger monster, let me know and I'll see what I can do! I plan to make some "micro monsters" for sale soon.

Care instructions

My Mountain Monsters should be cleaned with a damp cloth and air dried. For a big mess/spill, you can wash on gentle cycle then flatten out to dry. (They are filled with poly-fill stuffing which may get lumpy if you dry in the dryer.)

Gift wrapping and packaging

I do not yet provide gift wrapping of My Mountain Monsters. Monsters will be shipped in a padded envelope. If you need gift wrapping, or if the monster is being sent as a gift, let me know and we can talk about it.

Is 100% of your material upcycled/recycled?

About 90% of my materials are upcycled/recycled clothes, either that I have grown out of or that I've bought at a thrift store. I wash all clothes before using them for My Mountain Monsters. The felt pieces used for eyes and teeth was bought for a craft project a few years ago but not used. The big colorful buttons used for eyeballs are new. Some of the small buttons used for accents have been cut from the recycled clothes.
