After independently building successful small businesses both Amy & Kris, MoxieDori's founders, needed a way to organize their businesses. You know, the suppliers, the wholesale info, the list of inventory, the passwords, calendars, lists of ideas, shopping list, etc. They tried spiral notebooks, post-it notes, bits of paper, apps, three ring binders. . . None of them worked.

Then Amy discovered the world of bullet journaling and made herself a fauxdori. She loved the idea strapping in little notebooks of delicious paper into her fauxdori and having her important stuff all in one place.

Amy wanted to pretty up and streamline the inside of her fauxdori. According to Amy she has no natural drawing talent (she still says she can't draw a straight line). Stickers tend to be expensive and single-use, so she approached her friend, Kris, and asked if there was a way they could design and create stencils for journaling. (Of course they could!) They made one. They loved it. They made another. They loved that one too. They introduced their stencils to the journaling community and, TA DA, the rest is history.
