Oxton Books
I joined Etsy in 2007 as a soapmaker, but quickly became interested in many other crafts. I kept my recipes and ideas in an old wire notebook, and decided I wanted to make something as wonderful as the information it held.
I did lots of research online, bought lots of materials and tools, and made lots of mistakes. Eventually I was creating books I was proud of, and before long I sold out all my soap and started offering my journals on Etsy.
I really love the look of leather journals.. I love the old vintage feel, the worn edges and the rustic style. Being vegan, I opted for faux suede and pleather fabric. My daughter Brandi started by helping me fold paper a few years ago, and last year started creating her own books.

They are bound with UNwaxed thread.
Any bond or glue is synthetic or plant based.
Made in a Smoke Free/Pet Friendly environment.
Each journal takes 3-6 hours to create, so please understand that we are not able to do wholesale at this time. Thanks!
