I love using actual nature items and use leaves to texture my grapevine leaf tea bag holders
Still very fresh earthenware clay stamped with snowflakes and mistletoe will turn into colorful Christmas ornaments after two firings in an electric kiln. Magic that happens with engobes and glaze blue_heart
Making ornaments for me is like baking gingerbread cookies! Love how each one if them is unique! They just need a 1000°C firing in an electric kiln. I loved using Italian galestro clay while I was still living in Europe

About

Ceramics - my way of meditative state which erases all my worries. Creativity improves my well-being

In Croatia, back in the summer of 2012 I have decided to say goodbye to my old vintage '90s biker boots, as they were too small for me and have put them here on sale. About the same time I have started my pottery classes and Etsy was my greatest inspiration. So, when I've collected a bit more courage, I have listed my ceramics, mostly jewelery here, but with time, I've put more decorative and functional ceramics. You can check my earlier work on my Facebook page www.facebook.com/mozaknapasi.ceramics

I usually put some cool music on, and tuck my hands in clay. And so my "clay meditation trip begins". All my ceramics is handmade form slabs or pinching the clay. I love the magic how fire turns the mud into some beautiful shapes and colors! Handbuilding clay is my favorite part of the process.

After moving to Australia in 2014, I've continued my clay journey. I've set up a workspace in the garagio and bought my first kiln! I only wish I had more time for ceramics, I have a very active cheeky toddler. I'm hoping for a proper studio some day too!

Besides ceramics, I run another beach inspired Etsy shop, you can take a surf here to see what else I do:

I also enjoy some charity work and support the Thin Green Line Foundation, which is dedicated to protect nature's protectors, park rangers all over the world in their effort for species conservation and anti-poaching. 10% of my sales will go to the TGL Foundation itself, Check this out:

Hi! Since I was a little girl, I have always enjoyed crafting. Some ten years ago, I have tried to make some ceramics and fell in love with it. But it had to take few more years until my idea to attend a ceramic course has matured and here I am!
