Seller is super fast with answering any questions and everything was nice and easy from purchase to download. Would love a PNG with no background as an option, but this isn't a biggie. How Mrs Peggotty Arts & Paintings is born?
Some years ago I've discovered a great passion for classical literature and from there I've got the idea to represent what I was reading, focusing in particular on the characters and heroes that made me dream.
I often asked myself if all people create some inner images of what they are reading and, speaking with a few friends of mine, I've discovered that everyone has a different approach to reading. Some imagine sounds, some others imagine smells, others compose the soundtrack of the events in their mind:) I'm rather a slow reader and every phrase passes in front of my eyes with vivid and clear images. Well, probably it couldn't be otherwise, it's my job after all.
What I'm trying to do is to capture an instant of the life of those characters that stayed with me for days, weeks or months; grasping their essence, imagining their eyes, clothes and hair.
My portraits are all one-off and they are treated with special varnish to give the painting and aged and vintage look.

In case of problems contact me, we'll try to sort them out! Items will be shipped only after payment has been made.
I'm available for commissioned works. In that case I ask an advance payment of 30% of the total amount due. The remaining 70% will be paid at the end of the job. You'll be involved in every phase of the creation process so that you'll be sure that the final result will really be what you desired.
Shipping
Aged drawings (the originals, not the prints) are rigid and they could crack further during transport so they can't be rolled up. They will be shipped flat, protected by a temporary frame that will guarantee their safety during transport. I'll provide a despatch receipt and I will try to make an estimate of the delivery time.
First class mail is usually fast while registered mail is very slow. If you are planning to make a gift try to order a bit in advance. If you want a faster and trackable shipping method then contact me! I'll give you some other options.
REMEMBER that if you order from outside the UE you'll be asked to pay custom taxes before delivery. Custom taxes are usually calculated on th
