About

So I started playing with broken glass in college

and the rest, they say, is history. I have a degree in Fine Arts, with a concentration in copper foil stained glass technique. (Talk about a niche, eh?)

I started out working for a large stained glass restoration firm in the Pittsburgh area, and when the economy tanked (and I got downsized as a result) I put my stubborn on, bet against the house, and decided to open my own studio. Eight years later, I'm doing what I love (making cool stuff out of glass) and carving out a reputation for myself as a maker of beautiful unique things.

I love my job, and really, it might sound trite, but I wouldn't be here without my customers. So take a gander 'round my shop, and figure out what tweaks your geek.

Shop policies

Thanks for stopping by my shop! If you have a question that I haven't managed to cover here, please give me a shout. Custom orders are generally welcomed, although the wait time may vary since it's just my two hands creating nearly everything in my shop.

Unless otherwise stated in the item description, the piece shown is the one you'll get, and is made pretty much start to finish within my glass and metal studio.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Buy with Apple Pay
  • Pay with Sofort
  • Pay with iDeal
  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Money Order
  • Other Method
Payment
METHODS: I accept paypal, all major credit cards, amazon payments, google checkout, and money orders. Money orders must be drawn on US funds from a US bank.

PAYMENT: Please make every effort to pay immediately. It keeps my bookkeeping tidy, which makes me a happy woman. In the case of google checkout or credit card payment via my merchant account, I play email or phone tag for three business days. And then I relist the item. If you're paying by money order, payment must be received by my studio within 7 days of purchase.

SALES TAX: Is currently charged to residents of Ohio. (6.5%)
Shipping
US ORDERS: Are generally shipped out within two business days of purchase. Most of my items ship first class with delivery confirmation. **Delivery confirmation is NOT insurance, and I am shipping glass, so please consider purchasing insurance - just contact me and we'll go from there.** Domestic orders totaling $60 or more include insurance.

INSURANCE: Is HIGHLY recommended and can be added onto any order. Just let me know.

While your item will come in a new gift bag or box, I do occasionally reuse clean mailers. Shipping is based on actual shipping plus the packaging to get your item(s) safely to you. If for some reason the shipping cost ends up being a lot lower than what I've charged you, I will refund the difference.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: The rates listed on etsy are for Priority International, which is NOT traceable if lost. I HIGHLY recommend upgrading the shipping to Express International, which typically costs an additional $11-$18 beyond what I have listed, and automatically includes both a trackable shipping number and insures your package for $100 US. **I cannot be responsible for missing or damaged packages that are not sent via a trackable, insured method.**

CUSTOMS: I fill out customs forms honestly, which means what you paid is what gets written down, and your item will be marked as "online purchase". Buyers are responsible for all customs duties or charges that may be incurred.

WOULD YOU LIKE AN INVOICE? In the interest of Mother Nature, I print invoices by request only.
Refunds and Exchanges
REFUNDS: I ship glass, and I package it in a manner so that it generally arrives safely. Because it is glass, and so many of my items are one of a kind, I recommend purchasing insurance - please contact me for details, as items that arrive damaged without insurance cannot be replaced or refunded. **Please note - domestic orders totaling $60 or more include insurance.** Store credit may be issued depending on circumstance. I make each item in my shop to pretty high standards, and if there's a problem beyond what I've listed here, please contact me to discuss it. That being said, I work with glass. If it's mistreated, it will break. That's simply the nature of the medium.

EXCHANGES: Store credit will be issued if I've sent the wrong item or misrepresented the purchased item.
Additional policies and FAQs
CUSTOM ORDERS: are welcome, although the lead time needed for your project may vary based on my studio's workload.

WHOLESALE: Sorry, I do not typically wholesale my work.

CONSIGNMENT: Please contact me for further information. I will need a copy of your sales tax license and EIN. Consigning is at the discretion of the studio, and not all requests will be accepted.

GALLERIES: If my work interests you, please contact me. I have work in several galleries, and would love to speak with you.
