At Pink Gin Vintage, we will assist you with your vision,whether it is a
complete transformation or an eclectic mix of styles. This may be for a
celebration such as a Wedding, Christening or Anniversary party to a
Black Tie Ball, Première or Evening Reception. We will make sure you
are the Belle of the Ball.
Pink Gin aim to take only the most perfect pieces, preferably couture,
handmade. Where possible, we will gather the history of the item which
we feel only makes the item more precious. We would rather refuse
items than take clothing that doesn’t make you feel special.
Each item is individually wrapped in acid free tissue paper and boxed
according to size and weight and, unlike most other vintage retailers, all
items are delivered to you in pristine condition, professionally dry
cleaned or laundered before dispatch.
At Pink Gin Vintage we believe that vintage clothing belongs to
everyone and anyone, with styles spanning eras and emoting nostalgia.

Ordering

What currency do you accept? Your items will be calculated in your country of origin at the current exchange rate. Payments will however be taken in either US Dollars or GBP.
Do you hold items? No, sorry. However, we do have a Reserve Service. Please note that leaving an Item in your cart does not reserve an item.
Do you sell or give out my email address? No. Customers sensitive information such as card details, addresses etc. We will only use your email address to forward you relevant shop information if you have requested this service.
What payment methods do you accept? We currently accept:
• Paypal.
• Personal Cheques are accepted but they have to be verified & clear the bank system for 2 weeks before we ship.
Do you have a reservation service? Yes we do.
For orders £200.00 + You may pay half the item cost when you place the order and the remaining half in 30 days, or sooner. Please contact us for details.

All deposits are non refundable but can be applied to a shop credit if you do not complete the sale. If purchasing using a reservation service all items are non returnable. Please ensure you are happy and confident with all aspects of your purchase before committing to the sale. We can not change or exchange the items in the order once it's placed.

Shipping times may vary according to availability and we can not guarantee the delivery times & dates and are on the basis that we are not responsible for any delay in delivery occurring due to postal delays. If your order is accepted we will inform you by emailing you or by calling you. When making a request and or placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us requesting goods or services are true and accurate, that you are an authorized user of the credit or debit card used to make your request or purchase and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. Returns

Can I return my order if I don't like it? Anything over £150.00 for any reason at all is returnable for shop credit only as long as it was returned in the exact same condition we sent it in along with all belts, & any other decorations or matching items that went with it within 2 days of your delivery date. Please make sure you read the policies as we do not make exceptions to the return policy.
I don't want a store credit I only want my money back. We only offer shop credit. If there's something in particular you're looking for we take extra time for holders of shop credits, to actually go out & try to find it for you. Unfortunately, a problem among all vintage stores is clients buying items, wearing them out for special events, then returning them. As a small independent business, this policy gives us some protection. It helps with the rotation of stock and keep prices down. We don't make exceptions unless you received the wrong item or the item you ordered isn't available.
So many things I want are sold. How do I get there first? Our items, dresses especially, sell out faster than we can list, many times within minutes. We add new items several times a week as well as COMING SOON items a few times a week so people can see what's arriving. If you see some vintage clothing you like, even if it's sold, email us with the exact names of the items. Sometimes, items get returned & we will send you an email when it is re listed.
Why do you leave sold items on the site? Items remain on the site to accommodate returns. It also gives customers a point of reference when looking for items. As many of our items are attached to social networking sites, it helps to promote vintage style.
What hours do you work? Business hours are Monday to Friday 9-5pm. We will however endeavour to respond to any queries asap. For your convenience, business holiday dates will be posted to the site in advance.
When do you update & add new stuff? Every week, although this can be any day at present!
Can you email me whenever you list new stuff? The best way to keep informed of our stock is to add us to your favourites. You can also follow us on the social networks listed on our site. This way you will receive alerts of new items.

FAQ's

Why do some items say "Coming Soon" & when will they be available for sale? Clothing items with "Coming Soon" under them are previews to what we have coming into stock. Occasionally we'll find a flaw we missed during the photo-shoot. As we endeavour to ensure the garments are as near to perfect as possible, all flaws, no matter how minor are corrected.
The colour I see on my computer is different than what you describe, why? Every computer monitor is different. We endeavour to give you as accurate a description as professionally possible but that is not any guarantee.
I click on your photos but they don't open up, why?This is dependant on your browser you use. Please check your browsers compatibility with our site.
Can I request a particular kind of dress or item? You can tell us what you're looking for & we'll see if we have something suitable. We have up to 250 vintage items at our last count. I can, of course source specific items for you, however, due to the whole nature of vintage clothing, this may take a while!!
